The project is about to register
the vehicles. The directorate general of the traffic from the traffic control
management department is responsible for the registration of the vehicles. So, the
directorate makes a plan to develop an online web-based system for the
registration of vehicles where the applicants can register their vehicles
easily. The system allows individuals as well as the organization or company to
register the vehicle. On the other side, the system also provides the transfer
facilities to the old owners. For instance, if an old owner of the vehicle
wants to sell his vehicle, he can sell as well as can also transfer the
ownership to the purchaser of the vehicle.
Furthermore, the directorate of
traffic has also determined the limit for registering the vehicle around five. An
individual can only register five vehicles while the companies can register many
vehicles.
2. The
procedure of Vehicle Registration
The vehicle can be registered or
transferred by making an account on this the portal through signup. After
signing up, the system will show vehicle information form where the individual
or the organization or companies can enter or input the details of the vehicle
for registering the vehicle. The user or individual will click on the save
button, and the registered data inputs will be validated and verified. If the
necessary field is found empty, the system will show the error message or show “the
field is empty” message on the user interface. The user will fill that empty
field and then click on the Save button. The data will be verified again, and
after the vilification and validation, the system will save the vehicle data
into the data including the name of vehicle, model number, type (car or another
vehicle), owner, and old owner as well as other important information including
the price, tax, etc.
3. Problem
Statement of Vehicle Registration System Proposal
In the problem statement, the
main reason to develop this system and adopt this system is discussed. The
traffic management department faced some problems because of manual work for
the registration of the vehicle because sometimes the record searching task was
tough and complicated, especially in that case when an old vehicle needed the
transfer for the ownership. Due to human errors, the entry could be doubled as
well as the old ownership may not be canceled or transferred to new owner of
the vehicle. The Excel sheets provided some help, but they were not efficient
enough to handle the problems such as the entrance of new record, the appropriate
searching data, or the old ownership data of the vehicle as well as the double
entree when transferring the ownerships.
4.Objective
of Project of Vehicle Registration System Proposal
The objectives of this project are
to

Design and develop a web application for the registration
of the vehicles

Provide a user-friendly and easy environment to
the traffic management department where they can easily register vehicles and
the data will be saved in the online server

Provide a platform where professionals can make
new entries of vehicle’s ownerships, can change the old ownerships in case of
selling vehicles as well as to maintain the whole record of vehicles
5.Motivation
of Vehicle Registration System Proposal
For the excise or traffic
department, there is no such kind of user-friendly environment exist which can facilitate
them. An individual or the organization can register their vehicles by using
this web application within 30 days. The system will make the registration task
so easy for the company as well as it will reduce human errors and increase the
effectiveness and efficiency of registration and transfer.
