Essay Writing on Critical Review

A creative piece of art can take your mind to a high level of consciousness.  Most people believe in beauty and the powerful of meaningful quality art. Most of us are attracted to the beauty of art and the creative minds behind such art. In search for such art, I visited the Orange County Museum of Art in Santa Ana. While I found some of the art engaging, other works seemed lacking coherence.  Artwork without clear meaning never appeals to the mind.

To present different admirable and unique yet innovative an attractive piece of art, the paintings and the crafted objects are the duty of the painters and the artists of our society. They are the dominant members of the society in terms of the art. But in the present society, the painters are not much dominant because of the lack of the art skills and their unfamiliarity with the art, as the6y don’t know the true meaning of art. I have visited an art exhibition that was organized in the Museum of the Orange City and this exhibition was accessible for the public as well. The exhibition was overwhelmed with different unique pieces of the art and the innovative work of the painters and the artists. The exhibition was all about the different 5themes of the art and was based on photography and the unique paintings related to the artwork.

The art exhibition was conducted on the holidays and on the national events in the Orange county museum, this exhibition does not escape the holidays and events.  But I will critically review the exhibition conducted few months ago on November 02, 2019 in the Orange city museum. Some critical analysis from my side was evaluated on the exhibition. The main theme of the exhibitions was depicting about the relationship between the community and the individuals and the concerning problems between them. This theme was beautifully depicted and painted on the canvas with the usage of the colors and the objects that perfectly defines the theme by the artists. Moving to the section of photography, thephotogar0pher Rodrigo Valenzuela in the most alluring and beautiful way, presented the art work by using the camera. He has portrayed the relationshi0p between the community and the individuals and the problems between them by taking the irresistible shots from his camera. As he has used the camera more professionally and in an appropriate way, Rodrigo Valenzuela has depicted the concept and the theme beautifully in his photographs. His professionalism can be seen by the way he used the camera and captured the theme ad presented it beautifully.

He has used several objects that shoes different concepts and themes and the alienation and the displacement that desc4ribes labor, immigration and the American culture. According to my review and my thoughts, as these topics are difficult to explain and pota6y with the help of art and pictures like culture and e immigration because these two topics are alternative and subjective topics that cannot be depicted easily by art and photography.

By evaluating the work and the photographs taken by Rodrigo Valenzuela, I have reached to an assumption that the subjective topics and the values and norms of any culture can be presented beautifully and strongly in picture like he did in his piece of art.

The audience in the exhibition was enjoying because the artworks can be easily understandable by them. But everything is not perfect all things require changes and improvements to be done. And there are some improvements that is needed in the artwork of Rodrigo Valenzuela because he has exerted his emphasis on the moods and emotions. Because when culture an d the problems related to individuals are portrayed, emotions are not the only thing to be described and displayed other things like the hope, motivation and the happiness are also necessary because with sadness and emotions comes happiness and hope and these things are necessary to make the art an exceptional piece of work. Rodrigo has addressed only the feelings of sadness and grief’s rather than keeping a balance between the happiness and the sadness. Because if the artists only depicts the dark side of the world then how will the people know that there is a bright side of t5he world too. The artists should portray peace as well so that the public visiting the museums to attend the art exhibition will learn positive things from these exhibitions rather than only seeing the da4rkwer side of the world.

I have evaluated the work pieces of other artist and painters as ell. And I have seen some paintings depicting the issues. Like a painting shows the immigration issues in which the different students are sitting in the ground. And some complex themes as well were displayed in the exhibition like the painting which has white background and some gray lines painted upon it. I surely respect the way the artists have displayed their themes in a really beautiful way.

The artwork presented in the exhibition depicts mostly about the global issues and the realties’ of the society. But these paintings do not describe and portrays any of the positive feelings and the comparison between the negative and positive feelings like the hope and the disappointment, the happiness and the sadness, the satisfaction and the dissatisfaction.

In the whole art exhibition, I have found a single paintings that displays the comparison between the feelings. The pieces of art was well depicted as it was divided into two different parts, one part of the painting was describing the happiness and the life before the world war and the other part of the painting describes the stress and pain after the world war. In one side of the painting, greenery, happiness, the children going to the school and all the happiness in the picture was depicted. But in the second part, the homeless people, destroys buildings and the crying children shows the pain of the war.

But overall I will appreciate the exhibition, as these kind of exhibitions boost u-p the pain6ters to display new themes and new idea and painters have the new painters will have the opportunity to display their more innovative ideas and themes in the paintings. And the painters should focus on the positive impact son the life as well to promote positivity in the society and among people. This is an excellent opportunity to display different attractive themes and topics.
