Essay on Medical Laboratory Science at Washburn University “To Whom It May Concern”

I am writing this letter to inform you of my interest in Medical Laboratory Science at Washburn University. I have been fascinated with Medical Laboratory Science since high school. I studied in a field of scientific lab prepares to pursue my passion for earning my Associate’s in Scientific Laboratory. I also worked as a scientific laboratory for seven years. During my time there, I learned to organize material in the Laboratory. I assist in ensuring good samples and educate other staff members too. I carefully maintain the laboratory to ensure accuracy of results. I am a certified CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers by the American Red Cross. I also have a certificate in phlebotomy.

My professional certificates and work experiences help prepared me to pursue my passion to be in Medical Laboratory Science in the future. Currently, I am also a student of microbiology. I am doing a career with my bachelor's degree in microbiology. My long-term goals are to complete a master’s degree and eventually a doctorate program in the field of medical laboratory sciences. Based on the reputation of the Medical Laboratory Science Program at Washburn University, I am convinced that this is the next step to meeting these goals.

I believe that Washburn University would give me the greatest opportunity to learn modern sciences and current research, along with diversified culture which would give me greatest potential to help people. This program will also help me to learn the technical performance skills required for the medical laboratory profession. The opportunity to participate in this program would provide an opportunity to have a great future in the medical laboratory field.
