This has approved by how Al Jazeera has performed its unique method in presenting some threating issues which have allowed any voice to present comments and criticize the positions of the official government. Thus, this news channel has started to transform itself from only a satellite television station to an alternative political platform.

    In this case, Al Jazeera should realize that, as a news channel, the company is supposed to be a media to serve a number of fundamental functions within a democratic public. The main purpose of this media is to send proper information to the public and providing them with accurate and valuable information regarding policy and leadership (Ncbi.nlm.nih.gov, 2019). Even though the media has the capability to observe every single action performed by the government, but still, the media should not trigger the negative perception from the public, or even created political conflicts.

   Some solutions can be conducted by Al Jazeera to solve this issue and get back into its initial path are as mentioned below:

·         Providing credible information and also reaching a huge range of audiences. By doing this, Al Jazeera will eventually help in managing political conflicts rather than making them, while also encourage democratic principles.  

·         Properly apply the ethical guidelines in both reporting and presenting any political debate to prevent the news channel from becoming the manipulation platform by the politicians.

·  Al Jazeera should filter the ideas first if the news channel is going to present any political debate. The company could do this by conducting regular meetings to discuss which debate topic to present that would not create a negative image of the government, or create a conflict in the public.

The best solution for Al Jazeera would be the second one, which is applying the ethical guidelines in both reporting and presenting any political debate so that the politicians would not be able to use this news channel as the manipulation platform. In addition to this, by doing this, Al Jazeera will come back to its initial path and pay attention to its point of “…giving no priority to commercial or political considerations over professional ones.”

Al Jazeera is a news channel which was doing well in its previous performance, but then, due to the international achievement, it has turned out to modify its strategy and presentation toward the public. This has led the news channel to become a subject to criticisms regarding its approach. Thus, Al Jazeera needs to remain that the main purpose of media is to send proper information to the public and providing them with accurate and valuable information regarding the policy and leadership.
