Essay writing:

A piece of writing in which we write an argument with supporting evidence related to our topic is called essay writing. In essay writing, we analyze our topic and make a long discussion with the help of examples and reasons. When we talk about the length of the topic it depends on your level of studies, guidelines, etc. You can write an essay informal way as well as a formal way. There are many types of essay as following

·          Expository essay

·         Argumentative essay

·         Compare and contrast essay

·         Narrative essay

·         Descriptive essay

The format used in the essay:

Here we will discuss the format of essay writing or how to organize the structure of the essay. For that purpose, firstly we have to know about the number of paragraphs in an essay. There are five paragraphs written in an essay. This is the basic format of an essay there are three sections in one essay but these sections consist of five-paragraph as mentioned below:

1)Introduction paragraph 1

2)Body paragraph 2

Paragraph 3

Paragraph 4

3)Conclusion paragraph 5

1)Introduction:

This is the first paragraph of your essay so must grab the attention of the reader. Write your introduction interestingly. In this paragraph, introduce your topic it is not much longer because we just introduce our topic. If there is a necessity of background to make your introduction more understandable then write background history of your topic as well. Sometimes we start the essay by writing the definition of the topic in it.

2)Body part:

The body of the essay is also known as a central part of the essay. It consists of 3 paragraphs which give details about our topic. We have to write a lot of information related to our topic. The organization of your content will decide that your reader will take interest in it or maybe leave reading it. So, an essay needs to organize it in well mannered. If you are adding examples related to your essay topic, then it will help readers to get your idea. Because examples and reason help a lot in understanding something.

Now, we will talk about the length of the body section it consists of 60% to 80% of your essay. If you are a student of high school, then this body section consists of three paragraphs. But for a graduate school essay consist of 6000 words maximum mean might be possible body section consist of 8-10 pages.

Conclusion:

This is the last paragraph of your essay so make it moral. In this paragraph, we summarize our essay topic. For summarizing we just make a small introduction here. But just remember one thing when you introducing your topic here use different words and syntax. After writing the introductory part we will write a short note on our arguments and further details. When you write a very short summary of your topic in this part, make sure that it is easy, short, simple but must be understandable. Now wrap up your topic in the end and write about moral about essay. Make sure that you are completing your essay by writing a good conclusion.

Guidelines for essay writing:

When you are writing an essay must follow this writing process. The essay writing process consists of three main part as following:

1)prepare your topic

2)write your essay

3)rewrite

1)Prepare your topic

In this part you have to choose a specific topic, so choose the topic on which you want to write. If there are guidelines provided to you by the instructor, then read these instructions carefully. Now research your topic. Find out important information like the information you can use for supporting your arguments. Find out some reasoning and example about your arguments. Now decide your thesis statement. Draw a rough outline for your essay that will help you when you are writing your essay.

2)write your essay

As we know that we have to write an essay in three sections like introduction, body, conclusion. You have to follow the format of the essay mentioned above. This format of writing an essay will help you a lot. So, firstly introduced your topic and then give a detailed note on your topic by writing arguments. It is necessary for you that all examples, information must be related to your topic. After writing the body section you have to conclude your topic. So make a moral statement and write it in your conclusion paragraph.

3)Rewrite:

This is the last step for your essay in which you have to check the structure of your essay. For example, if you find any paragraph that doesn't consist of the topic sentence in starting. Then change it because it will affect your essay in a bad way. After checking the structure, you have to check the content of every paragraph. If there is any wrong information, then remove it and correct your sentence. Now, look at your language and grammar errors. If you find any punctuations, verb, spelling, and grammar errors. Then correct all your errors and rewrite them.
