Research Paper:

A research paper is an academic writing work that includes study, explanation, discussion, and argument on a specific topic. These all factors are based on the research that has been done on a topic. While writing a research paper try to engage your readers at first. Your data, facts, or any piece of information that you are using must be validated. A research paper consists of different parts and an abstract is also one of the most important parts.

Abstract:

Abstract is a short view of the long work so it is a summary of your whole research paper and it must not be more than 250 to 300 words. In this, you talk about the context of your research work, the topic under the study, the queries and problems, your survey, and the solution, findings, or result that you have got. Don’t write lengthy paragraphs in an abstract. Your abstract should give an overlook of your whole research paper that what your research work is going to be about? Finish Your Research Paper First:

In the first step, go through your whole research work. You must have a great command of your research paper. If you don't know every detail of your work, then you can't write an abstract skillfully. So first finish your research article or research paper and then write an abstract.

Summarize Your Research Paper:

In the next step, summarize your complete research paper in a paragraph.  It must contain key points of the research paper but it should not be loaded with loads of information. Also, write keywords, this may attract your readers.

Discuss the Problem:

In an abstract of the research paper, discuss the problem on which you are doing this research work. Also give a little bit background of the problem and what kind of researches has also been done before on this problem. Then give your opinion that what you have to get from the whole research work.

Confer Your Approach:

There are different approaches in research paper you can use i.e. Qualitative, quantitative, and mixed approach. So what approach you are using in the research paper must be mentioned in an abstract. The methods and materials that are used in research work should also stated in an abstract.

Take Out Major Objectives:

The other step is to take out the objectives and aims from the research paper, due to which you have made this research paper. Do state the purpose of the research. Also, tell your audience what type of theoretical or practical problem this research paper does respond to. What type of research question you aim to answer should also be mentioned in an abstract. These objectives and aims should be stated in an abstract. This will tell your reader that why this research paper has been made.

Provide Relevant and Concise Information:

Write the most relevant and most to-the-point information, because the details are meant to be given in a body part of the research. As well as the relevant information is going to leave a good impression on the reader. Don't exaggerate and don't give detailed information. It should be concise. Because long lengthen paragraph will make the reader lose their attention.

State the Conclusions or Results:

After stating the problem, objectives, methods, etc. state the result that you have got about the problem after the research. Also, state your conclusion that you have made because your reader would like to know what will be the result or even the solution of this problem.

Grab Your Reader’s Attention:

The main objective to write an abstract is to seek the attention of the reader. If a research paper is too long, then no one is going to read the whole research paper and this might lose the interest of the reader. So, if your abstract is catchy and interesting then there are more chances that the reader reads the whole paper.

Do Consider Guidelines:

The most important one, if some guidelines have been given to you, then do consider those all guidelines. For instance, if the details i.e. length, style, size strategy etc. are provided to you by the panel or teacher in-case you are a student then follow the guidelines.
