A dissertation is a piece of writing based on research originally written by students in undergraduate or postgraduate degree programs. It is very important to write it very professionally because all the work is dependent on the way you present it. The most common structure that is used for thesis or dissertation is given below;

2.      A literature review that represents the research and previous work of different authors on similar topics.

3.      A detailed explanation of methodology.

It is sometimes like a long essay when it comes to humilities for building an argument of secondary and primary resources. Some of the important aspects are the title page, references, in-text citations, abstract, and table of contents. These things are of great importance for making the dissertation seems good. Executive summary or abstract is somehow the most essential factor in a dissertation because these present the actual idea of the document. In this way, it is very vital for students or researchers to consider talking about the main idea. Here are some of the common things that should be discussed in the abstract to make it fine;

It is noted that the table of contents is very beneficial for the readers to find and approach the exact thing they want to read. It helps in navigating topics or chapters and can give a very decent look to the dissertation.

List of tables and figures

This list is not always mandatory but somehow it can lead is given a very good impression of the dissertation. The tables and figures that have been used can be directly seen by the reader without any hurdle.

List of abbreviation

The list of abbreviations is for the words which are used in a short way in a dissertation. It also gives an ease to the reader to understand the exact meaning of that works. These are usually abbreviated words.

Introduction

The introduction of the topic is for the motivation and the purpose of the topic. It must include some things to make it interesting;

References provide a claim for all the studies that are being used. So, it is necessary to be recently published.

Appendices

This is also necessary in case of detailed data that you can’t write in the dissertation but at the end. It must be in the form of tables and diagrams.
