Category: Education Paper Type: Essay Writing Reference: APA Words: 800

One of the important types of a research paper is a scientific research paper. This paper is mostly quantitative and qualitative. Writing a scientific research paper is kind of difficult as it demands you to go through various findings are surveys. These findings should be done accurately to receive authentic results to be mentioned in the research paper. If any of the findings would not be correct it will reduce the authenticity of the research paper and will make it useless. For such reason, it is very important that the scientific research paper be done with more effort and should be done in more detail. Because assumptions ins scientific research paper will do nothing.

Scientific research papers are written with the great purpose of sharing knowledge, especially with other scientists. Other scientists read the paper and get to know about that particular topic and how it has been proved. Basically, the scientific research papers are like the base for other scientists to continue their work. They then gather the knowledge and go for writing another paper. This chain then continues.

It is necessary that the scientific research paper should not have any irrelevant and useless statements over it and each statement should be proved through the fieldwork or if the work has already be done on that statement then it should be supported by the existing scientific literature. The language used in writing a scientific research paper should be very clear and understandable. If the reader would not understand what has been mentioned in the paper then there is no purpose in writing it. So, all the statements should be very clear and correctly supported.

Generally speaking, the scientific research paper has two kinds of audience. One is the referee and the other is the general reader. The readers do not have very high knowledge about what is happening in the paper and are rather tend to believe whatever is mentioned. While the referee is knowledgeable of all the facts and reads the scientific research paper critically and look for if there is any mistake or not. It is the duty of the writer to please both of his audience. The scientific research papers should be written in a way that they convince their audience of their authenticity and validity and make them believe that it is the right research paper they were looking for.

Mostly, all the scientific research paper consists of the experimental work. While writing such papers which include the experimental work, a basic chronological structure is followed and practiced. This method is divided into the following five sections: introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.

In the introduction part, such statements are made which tells the reader about the purpose of writing the scientific research paper. It also develops in them the interest of reading the rest of the paper. Along with this, the introduction part gives an idea to the reader about what is going to happen in the rest of the paper. Then come the material and methods. In this section, experiments related to the research paper are carried out. Each step of the experiment is mentioned and explained along with the results that each step generate is explained in details. The material and methods part plays an important role in giving the other scientists a chance to perform the same experiment in the same way (as each step is mentioned in detail). Also, all the materials and methods (other than experiment) used in the scientific research paper is also mentioned.

Then there is the result section. In this part, the results drawn from the experiment is mentioned and explained. Then there is the discussion section. This section discusses each point made in the result section and proves it. in most of the paper, the result and discussion section is used as a single heading. This is because it helps in telling the results and discussing it simultaneously helps the reader to have a better understanding of the paper. In the end, we have the conclusion. As commonly known, the conclusion section concludes all the experiments (research) made and the results which were taken out from those experiments along with its discussion is mentioned.

This was the most general structure of all the research papers but is an effective one for writing the scientific research paper. The topics which can be selected for the scientific research paper consist of a vast range. Anything which is related to the scientific field can be discussed in a research paper and can be worked upon. While writing a scientific research paper, the same topic can be repeated if the scientist thing that the work is done before is not authentic enough and wants to prove his point. Rest, most people try to go for new scientific topics.
