In this paper, there is a comprehensive discussion on racial inequality and their custody in the United States of America. It can be noted that from the start, the black people in that country are not treated well, and they are harmed and given no proper rights. This paper will highlight some important facts about the racial inequality in the custody of black people that are living in America. In the first part of the paper, there is proper information about the racial inequality in drugs in America. Then after this in the second part of the paper, there is comprehensive information on the racial inequalities in custody (Cole).

Racial inequalities in Drug crimes in America

It can be noted that the rate of drug crimes of black people are increasing in America from the last few years. The main reason is that drug arrests have a huge impact on the people that are involved. This is because these people entered the world for crimes. There are two main issues that are present at stake include the main practices of law enforcement practices, and the other one is the lack of opportunities for its treatment.

The rate of arrests is increasing in that country. The main reason is that the health condition of the people and also fewer resources for its treatment. The main fact is that there are a number of black people that are involved in taking drugs and due to this, their arrest rate is increasing. There are some researchers that are working on making strategies that can easily minimize the rate of drug crimes (Loury).

For that purpose, there are some authors that are working for finding more suggesting to control the effect of relative disparity that is present in Black people. It can be noted that before proposition 47, the rate of drug crimes was extremely high. But the government of America was not able to give proper rights to the black people so the rate of drug crimes will be minimized. Then after the suggestion, the rule was completely changed, and due to this, the non- Hispanic black people are able to get an advantage, and their rate of crime becomes extremely lowered as time passes.  On the other hand, the rate of drug crime arrests of black people is almost as twice compared with the white people of the country. But the main issue is that this Prop 47 was just preventing the reclassification of the drug crime rate in America. The government of this country was also involved in putting extra charges on Black rather than the white one in that country (Western).

For solving this issue, there is a requirement if racial bias in applying the laws in that country. The main reason is that due to such laws, there will be a reduction in the inequities of drug arrests. Also, there is a need to understand the main relationship between the discrimination present between the black and white people of America. for solving this particular issue, there is a need to review the data in a proper way with the best data collection techniques (Alexander).

This can be minimized through a better and equal rate of health facilities in that country. if all people of that country are treated equally under the laws and enforcement, then the country is able to use all important resources to minimize the rate of crime.

Drug treatment opportunities

The government of America has to work on finding the best solution for this problem so that all black people are treated under the laws, and also public issues are verified properly. In that case, a complete strategy should be made to solve this problem of treatment opportunities. This is because if the government of America worked on giving proper rights to the black people by providing them essential health services, then it would be easy to minimize racial inequality in drug crime. For its treatment, it can be seen that in recent years, the criminal justice reforms of California are involved in making a complete policy framework for providing complete health services to the black people, so they are able to overcome the drug crime issues in America. Moreover, it can be seen that California is involved in enhancing their Medicaid benefits for black people by expanding their main services (Samuel Walker).

Due to this fact, these people are involved in huge crime because the facts are showing their crime rate. But the real point is that the police are only after the black people. For resolving this issue, there is a need to identify why the custody rate of black people is extremely high in that country. For that case, there is a need to identify what are the main causes of racial disproportionality.

For explaining this, there is a need for a hypothesis that will explain the fact in a proper way why the rate of crime is increased in black Americans rather than white people. There are many researchers that are involved in finding the main reason behind this fact. But it can be noted that it is extremely difficult to determine what the major factors are behind the high crime rate in America. There is two main hypotheses that are used to examine why this crime rate is high in that country. The first one is related to differential offending, and the next one is related to the differential selection. Now the next thing is that the criminal justice system of America is not too reliable because it is not working on the composition of races. This shows that there are different rules for the black people that are living in that country. They have justified this by providing many examples. Due to this, it can be noted that the black males of this country are present in high amounts in the jails of America (Cole).

There is one big factor, and it is related to the education system, the surveys show that the government is not showing proper attention towards the educational sector for the black people. Due to they decided to earn money through different means. In the last thirty years, the incarceration rate of black people is growing every year (Cole).

This problem can be solved easily through the help of different means like changing the environment of the criminal justice system of America. If their government is able to give proper rights to every citizen in that country, then there will be a quite low criminal rate for the black people. There are many pieces of evidence that are showing that this criminal justice system is totally racist. But it can be controlled by removing racial inequality in that country (Western).
