Final Reflection of Training and Development for the Administrative
and IT Support
The world is getting advancements and
developments through the technology day by day. The whole process of all the
fields in the modern world is replaced with technology. Not to go with the flow
is the drawback of any individual or the organization. It is mandatory for all
to adopt the new developments and technology to compete with the new era of
technology. The adoption of these developments and technology is also a critical
process for everyone, this transformation needs proper training to get familiar
with that of the technology. The developments and training for every field is
the demand of this timespan, so, I decided to registered this course to learn
the importance of the training and development and the strategies through which
the training and development in the information technology and that of the administration
is carried out.
After I registered this course, in the
starting I was facing the issue of the language understanding and I was no
performing well in the class and also through the task work. The professor was
very kind and cooperative. I talked to them on my issue and the teacher
suggested a better solution to overcome this problem. He told me some online
courses and programs to practice and learn the basic language. Acting upon their
advice, I was able to eliminate this problem from my process of learning. After
this, I performed well in the class as I got into everything from the teacher
and that of the class. Next to that, the professor has a wide range of
knowledge related to the development and the training, he taught us much aside
to the course work related to real-life experience. He kept a solid observation
on every student and delivered the lecture according to the student's level.
Besides this, I was new in the course and
was not familiar with much of the students and had no friends in the class.
That’s also a problem lit bit; I was not much participating in the class
activities. Upon this, two of my class fellows and colleagues talked to me and
I discussed my problem. Both of them offered me to join their group and I
joined with them and got into their social circle. That’s was not helpful for
me in course work but also in social life. I have not much background knowledge
of this course earlier, so my colleagues me to overcome the gap in the
knowledge and I became able to run with the class in the course work. My
friends were very supportive and cooperatives, they not only helped me in
course work but also introduce me much with diverse cultures. Thus, I have
identified many shortcomings and the betterment in myself.
As the course outlines, during this course,
I have learned my skills related to that of the development and the training.
The development and the training are mandatory for all well beings of all fields,
For IT and administrative, It holds strong aspects as they both have to
participate much with the humans and guide them through their daily life
issues. First, o fall learned the different principles of the training that’s
as individuality, specificity, progression, overload, adaptation, recovery, and
reversibility (Flandin, 2018). These all descried
principles have much significance in daily life and at the workplace for
training the development. Before starting the training of a particular group,
we should have to know the basic principles that I have learned from this
course and will apply to my job.
I have learned much about the training
cycles through which the organization is carried out for its development and
the training cycle. The training cycle is a set of strategies developed for the
training taking from the identifying to the implementation of any of the
training procedure. I have come to know the importance of the training and the
development of the workforce for the increased revenue and that of the
profitability. Proper training has many benefits as that of the lesser the
burden of skilled persons, skills enhancements for fresh employees and increases
the efficiency and the delivery rate that ultimately effects the image of the company.
From this point of view, I have come across the importance of training and
developments.
Proper training and development, needs to
develop and design a well-planned training module through which the employee
and the leaders of the company should pass out. I have learned that a
well-planned and synchronized program that will be effective in the job palace.
That program has the following steps leading from need assessment to
implantation are (Bell, 2017);

I will perform a need
assessment plan to check whether training is mandatory or not.

I will remember the different
learning principles while designing the programme.
·
There is a need for the
material helpful for the training, I will develop material that’s would accurate
with training.
·
Then I will implement the training
on the related group of employees or people
·
Next after some days, I will evaluate
the effect of the training program either it is going in the right direction.
·
If it occurs some hurdle or
fault I will repair or change that factor.
I further studied the different types of training
specifying individual capabilities and the trends of the modern world. These
styles are visual, aural, verbal, physical, logical, social and solitary (Strobach,
2016).
All the described styles have their own advantages and disadvantages over the
specified limits. I will adopt these styles according to the constraints of the
workplace. We can not use the general method for all it requires proper
planning and developments for any training program. The next step, I have got familiar
with is the implementation of the developed training plan for the advancement
and the proper functionality of the organization. The implementation is an important
point to all. In the workplace, I will keep a solid eye on the implementation step,
because it contributes towards the success of failure of any of the training
programs.
In the end, I have come across checking the
effectiveness of any training strategy adopted. This check is done by
conducting the after-action review and analyze the behavior of the trained
people. These analyses check will be much helpful for me to be an analyzer at my
job for any program or policy. I am able
now to work as a mentor or a trainer at any stage of any field after getting
knowledge from this course (Vinales, 2015).
Before enrolling in this course, I was much
confused about my personality and worried about career. I was not seeing myself
as an expert in my field. This course proved much helpful for me in developing
the skills. Through this also my confidence level raised up and I see my self
as an expert in my field. The whole course
work was very informative and the teacher was above all, he engaged us in
different activities to enhance our confidence. He was well aware of every
student's strengths and weaknesses, so he provided the proper tasks to students
that’s fits their interests and cover up their weaknesses. Overall, it was the best
experience of my life.
