Analysis of Dance performances

The dance performance in this video is quite unique as the performance of participants is not only one genre but the mixture of the genre in which break, jazz, lyrical contemporary, lindy hop and also the touch of other genres is used (YouTube, 2019). The mixture of dance genre grabs the attention of the audience by clearly communicating the message from the dancers. Their slips bodies, their spiral in and out steps and their feelings of mix of emotions delivered an eye grabbing entertainment.

The theme and mood of dance performance are classical in which participants perform and creating an awesome and enjoyable environment for the audience. The classical theme and costume of participants and body gesture collectively increase the excellence of the performance. There is no use of colored lightning during the dance performance because of its theme. The mood of feelings is calm, bold and agitated. However, each movement of participants and chemistry is excellent as all the members performing different movements such as diagonal, sideward, advanced, rise up and so on.

Moreover, the movement on 5:29 was excellent in which participants performing as they are happy with the blessing of God as tapping their hands. This movement cheer up the audience that stand up all audience. Therefore, participants continuously moving their torso. In this regard lightening is important as when the participants become sad then the light is dim and when participants show the happiness then lightning is bright. The dance is about the reflection of feminism because some part of society female has no right to live with freedom and in some parts, females have their rights. I enjoyed the performance because the participants controlled their body during complex steps and maintained body shape during the performance. At the beginning of dance performance, lights were dimmed and then start to bright as the performance of participants is moving forward.

Dance#2

This video presents another awe-inspiring dance performance in which the dancers appeared in wavelike pattern and their joyful faces and their swinging bodies telling the story of their joy and happiness. The body movement, their bold moods, and twisting and impatient mood reflect that it is a balboa performance .

The dance establish romantic mood as during the dance the couple are pounding and caressing their bodies that reflects the love between the couples. The use of shocking and bright colors of the dancers and the dancing lights on the floor invoke the romantic feelings among the viewers.

I really enjoyed the moment when couple came to the front of center of the floor and the tapping their feet, their chemistry and their collaboration were stunning that really amazed me. The use of torso, and the body movement made the environment full of emotions and joy.

It is appreciable that the lighting played evoking role because it was like that lighting is another dancing partner that have perfect collaboration with the other dancers. Lightening, the dancing positions and the background made the viewers to enjoy the splendid performance of dance.

This dance symbolizes the love and romance and how these feelings make our mood and make us to feel happy in such a busy life.

Honestly, I enjoyed the performance as its inspiring, entertaining and full of professionalism because the movement presented by the dancers were amazingly telling the whole story.
