Introduction PID tanks system
This project is
about the PID tank system. The mathematical model of this system is given in
detail for proper simulation of this project. These tanks are controlled by
setting the values of Q that is flow of any liquid that is present in these
tanks. In the starting part of this project there is design of Simulink model
of PID tank system. This response will be open loop system, and for this system
the values are given that will be helpful for simulation.
Then after this in the next part there will be
proper design of On-Off controller for the controlling of the liquid in these
tanks. These responses are plotted during simulation. In the third part of this
project there is design of PID controller in detail and its step response is
plotted. According to the PID, what will be the transient response of the
system? Then by setting the PID controller its response will be verified in
detail. The case is simulated in which the value of actuator is saturated. The anti-windup
feature of the system will be simulated and its results are compared. Then in
the last part complete performance of the PID controller and sensor has been
