In the modern business world, the business setting has become more competive than every before and only organizations can survive and grow that can respond to the market trends with creativity and innovativeness. Therefore, it becomes ultimately important for any organization to encourage creativity and innovativeness to keep the organization on the right track and to go with the flow (Anderson, Potočnik, & Zhou, 2014).

Accoridng to the author, creativity can be defined as “The generation of new ideas”. Therefore, the creativity can be taken as introducing new ideas and throught. Following this, the innovatiness is defined as “Innovativness is the process of converting the creative ideas into to create something new in the shape of invention. Therfore, the innocation can be called as invention. Following this, the link between the creativity and innovativeness can be defined as “Creativity is the starting point whether it is associated with invention or opportunity spotting’ (Anderson, Potočnik, & Zhou, 2014).

The following research is focused on to discuss the importance of the creativity and the innovativeness and its role in the organizational success. Moreover, the following research will discuss that how creativity and innovativeness could be encouraged among the people of the National Bank of Oman.

Management in National Bank of Oman

The National Bank of Oman is the largest Bank in Oman and providing the facilities to the business people of Oman and also other financial services in the country. NBO is the 1st public bank in Oman and was established in 1973. In the starting, it was the local bank and was providing its services at moderate rates, as the bank has grown up and now facilitating the people with high rates in the Middle East. NBO has the capital Of Omani Rials 110.8 million paid and Capital of 377.8 million regulatory capitals. NBO has about sixty branches and 173 Automated Transaction Machines across the country. It headquartered in Muscat and has its two international branches Dubai and Abu Dhabi. National Bank of the Oman CEO name is Al Sayyid Wasif Jamshid Al Said. He is leading the bank of Oman towards the heights of the Success (Singh, 2015).

National Bank of Oman is offering many services in accordance with the needs of the country and also to facilitate the customers. With the conventional services of banking, it is providing many more services beneficial to people of all ages. Beginning with its services, it provides the young generation and the students with the Mustaqbali Accounts that provide the youth to invest in finance and enjoy their business career. Al Kanz accounts provide the investors to win more interest as compared to they invested. Furthermore, the AL Maad accounts are for the parents that are want to invest in the future of their children. Besides all these services, NBO is offering savings accounts to national and international clients. That allows investing as maximum as anyone wishes (Kolegija, 2018).

To remains successful the NBO has to understand the importance of creativity and innovativness to sustain and grow its business. Subsequently, following are some theories that could be used to envourage innovativness;

Design thinking is the most popular idea to enhance the creativeness and innovation through the business. It makes evolution in the way of business and improves the innovation of the organization in the industry. It encourages the ideas of employees on the specific topic of the organization. it enhances the abilities of the employees by providing the opportunities (Leon, 2016).

To encourage the innovativeness the theory that is most commonly used is the design thinking theory. The following figure shows the process of design thinking;

The figure shows that the process of innovativeness starts with empathize stage where the challenge is identified. Following this, at the define stage; the problem that is causing by the issue identified at the initial stage is clearly defined. At the third stage of ideate, the potential solutions are discussed through the process of brainstorming. At the stage of prototype the possibly best solution is selected to be implemented. At the test sage the selected solution is tested by applying it at small scale (Malatesta, 2014).

System theory for the management is based on the decisions taken in accordance with that of the system that is currently within the company or the organization, the system based upon the process, activities, outputs and outcomes. These systems are based upon the reviews and the feedback of the clients and the customers of the bank Oman (Morgeson, 2015). Through adopting this system, the Oman bank is growing faster their systems and the process of the business. They highly depend upon the reviews and the feedback of the clients. Adopting this system theory, the National Bank of Oman has started the new accounts and the many other services to accomplish the needs of the clients and to attain a higher status in the competition world.

The process of innovation starts with the recognition of the opportunity and this opportunity can be accessed by understanding the market needs. as it can be seen in the following image that in the process of the innocation the business idea based on the customer need. Following this, on the base of the customer need, the business comes up with the idea that fulfils the need of the its customers (Kolegija, 2018).

It has been seen that the formal education system is not enough to develop the interpersonal skills and professional development skills for the employee. The course base study just provide the knowledge that is not sufficient for the human workforce. Due to globalization, the competition within the same strategic group of industries is increasing. Human capital needs skills, hybrid skills and integrated skills (Stokes, Wilson, & Wilson, 2010). The non-formal education system pave the way of the youth that comes straight from the formal school. It helps to develop the career of the newcomer as well as increase the productivity of the organization. The significance of non-formal education is very impactful in the R&D department of the organization. many studies show that the non-formal education facilitates career opportunities and increase the performance, national bank of Oman believe in the non-formal education of the employees and provide the opportunities for employees to learn non-formal education (Stokes, Wilson, & Wilson, 2010).

Enhance the ability of employees of Mobilising Organisational Creativity and Innovation at National Bank of Oman

Change is the continuous process for the improvement and the survival of the organization, change is always resisted by the previous employees but it helps to increase the performance of the organization, therefore, T&D or on-the-job training programs, facilitates in enhancing the skills of the senior employees. NBO realize the significance of the T&D programs and implement them and provide opportunities to enhance the skills of the employees according to the new technological system. It creates innovation in the system and improves the performance for both side’s employees and organizations. It helps the retention rate of the employees in the organization (Kolegija, 2018).

Develop A strong focus on Entrepreneurship of Mobilising Organisational Creativity and Innovation at National Bank of Oman

Entrepreneurship plays a vital role to increase the economic condition of the country as well as improve the living standard of the community by innovating the new things. Entrepreneurship is the backbone of the economy. NBO is encouraging the newcomers in the field of entrepreneurship by giving the loans and provide opportunities for youth (Kolegija, 2018).

Improving the partnership and innovations of Mobilising Organisational Creativity and Innovation at National Bank of Oman

The next step is to develop and combining the world’s other largest companies in the partnership and enhance the services and the products. They should make services with the collaborations of the other world's largest companies. National Bank of Oman should provide the system of the online buying offers to the other companies. (Anderson, Potočnik, & Zhou, 2014)

Extending systems as demand of Mobilising Organisational Creativity and Innovation at National Bank of Oman                                                                             

The whole system of the bank is very limited and not in the boarder concept. Due to this issue, the bank of Oman should make changes and the extension in systems of the services. They should integrate their systems according to the demands of the modern world. They should adopt the ERP system to facilitate the customer of the national and international boundaries (Malatesta, 2014).

Conclusion of Mobilising Organisational Creativity and Innovation at National Bank of Oman

The National Bank of Oman is the first, oldest and largest bank of Oman and is providing its services to the clients at higher rates. Their management and the leadership is the best throughout the business ad the process, they are working at the very high and appreciable stages. However, to sustain theory business and to grow, they need to respond the market demands through creative and innovative ideas. Subsequently, the creative and innovative idea should be encouraged among the employees.  In the above research, it is found that NBO leadership can encourage creativity and innovativness among its employees by utilising various innovation theories such as desing thinking, system theory and innovation process and models as these theories are based on well-organized plan that would be helpful in encouraging innovation and creativity.
