Publix
(PUSH) corporation is basically about the chain of supermarkets. The company
intends to operates in different regions with the diversified products. It
provides the customers with the products like seafood, bakery items, meat,
dairy products, soft drinks, beverages including the alcohol, confectionary
items, pharmacy services along with the dry fruits etc. The areas where Publix
(PUSH) corporation operates include Georgia,
Tennessee, State of Florida, South Carolina and Alabama.
The
competencies of the organization include the practices & skills, which
increases the competitive advantage of the organization. Publix corporation’s
core competencies include innovation, Quality, Marketing and strong customer
service. These competencies allow Publix Corporation to create customer loyalty
and increase the revenue of the organization. The innovation is Publix products
and their quality are some of the things which have allowed Publix to gain a competitive
edge over their competitors. The resources which constitute these competencies
include strong financial performance and skilled employees. The organization
high profitability allows the corporation to invest heavily in R&D. That is
why the corporation comes up with new designs and features after some period of
time (WHITE, 2019).
It
is concluded that the Publix corporation’s core competencies include
innovation, Quality, Marketing and strong customer service. These competencies
allow Publix Corporation to create customer loyalty and increase the revenue of
the organization.

Corporation uses a differentiation strategy. Publix Corporation creates
innovative products for its customers and targets those customers who can pay
high prices. Publix makes sure that its customers can get a unique and
innovative product. The customers of Publix know about the quality of their
products; that is why they are ready to pay high prices to the organization. The
organization has aligned its business strategy with their marketing strategy.
This is something the organization has done far better from its competitors. It
is quite evident from their products that they are chosen focused
differentiation strategy because not everyone can afford the products of Publix
Corporation. If the business strategy of Publix organization is analyzed
critically, then it can be said that up to a lot of extents, the market
position & competence is adequately reconciled (International Strategic Management, 2011).
It
