Mobile gaming among users has increased as
analyzed through the results that the positive significant relationship is
considered or can be seen among the dependent as well as the independent
variables. Therefore, it is noticed that players may play mobile games for
relaxing, diverting attention from something, and expressing creativity as well
as for socialization and emotional express purposes among others.
However, there are mostly positive values so
there is a positive significant relationship among independent variables and
dependent variables. It means that youth in Saudi Arabia have motivations for
purchasing of mobile games. Considering the research question it is known that
there is the production of mobile devices with additional features to attract
customers such as mobile games has remained a priority to the players in the
mobile market.
The research achieves its objectives as noticed
that there is a positive and significant relationship to the perceived
usefulness of mobile games on the purchase of mobile games among youth in Saudi
Arabia. There is a positive and significant relationship to the influence of
pricing on the purchase of mobile games among youth in Saudi Arabia. There is a
positive and significant relationship to influence of advertisement role on the
purchase of mobile games among youth in Saudi Arabia. There is a positive and
significant relationship to the influence of user satisfaction with mobile
games on the purchase of mobile games among youth in Saudi Arabia.
Conclusion of Motivations for Purchasing of
Mobile Games Among Youth in Saudi Arabia
It can
be concluded after conducting the results that there is a positive significant
relationship among independent variables and dependent variables. It means that
youth in Saudi Arabia have motivations for purchasing of mobile games. After
conducting primary and secondary research it is known that that motivation for
purchasing mobile games could be related to individual perspectives or system
characteristics.
However,
the hypotheses are also proved as H1 is accepted because performance expectancy
is positively related to the user’s behavioral intention to purchase mobile
games. H2 is accepted because social influence is strongly influencing user's
behavioral intention to purchase mobile games. H3.1 is accepted because the
hedonic motivation is positively related to the users behavioral to purchase
mobile games. H3.2 is also accepted because gender will moderate the effect of
hedonic motivation on behavioral intention to purchase mobile games, such that
the effect will be stronger for male players as well.
H4.1
is accepted because price value is positively related to the user’s behavioral
intention to purchase mobile games. H4.2 is also accepted because gender will
moderate the effect of price value on behavioral intention to purchase mobile
games, such that the effect will be stronger for female players. H5.1 is
accepted because habit is positively related to the user’s behavioral intention
to purchase mobile games. H5.2 is accepted because gender will moderate the
effect of habit on behavioral intention to purchase mobile games, such that the
effect will be stronger for male players. RQ has accepted the motivating
factors for purchasing mobile games among the youth in Saudi Arabia are known.
Recommendations of
Motivations for Purchasing of Mobile Games Among Youth in Saudi Arabia
Following
are some recommendations which can be considered to improve the research
further:
- This research has been conducted only in the context of
Saudi Arabia which means that the results of this study can be applied
only to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The results cannot be applied to
other nations because information or data hasn’t been considered which
belongs to other nations. Therefore, this study is not universal. This
research can be improved by broadening its scope and collecting data from
other countries. In this manner, the research can have a broader impact.
- While conducting the literature review, some issues
were encountered such as the lack of studies conducted in the context of
Saudi Arabia. For instance, there were only a handful of researches which
were conducted in the context of Saudi Arabia. In addition to it, some
studies were inaccessible as well. Due to it, more precise information
couldn’t be obtained. This can be improved in the future by acquiring
these studies and obtaining information from new studies performed in the
context of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
These
