Natural Marble has been famous as one of the elements that support a number of infrastructures throughout the time. In fact, there are plenty of the world's popular infrastructures still stand proud and tall along with their Marble glory for centuries.

There are many pieces of evidence that Marble has been used all over history to construct some of the world’s famous masterpieces and monuments. In fact, you might be surprised to discover that some of them are the most recognizable ones in the world.  

Now, let’s make a journey in a historic look at Marble.

·         Taj Mahal

Well, who doesn’t know this incredibly amazing infrastructure? Taj Mahal located in India has listed as one of the world’s popular infrastructures. Natural Marble stones have supported this marvellous Taj Mahal with its elegant surroundings.

Taj Mahal was built by the King of Mughal, Shah Jahan to complete his promise to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and built up the world’s most stunning tomb. Up till these present days, Taj Mahal has turned to become a ‘must-see’ destination with its gigantic ivory Marble.  

·         The Tower of Pisa

This great Tower of Pisa is also known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa due to its iconic angle. The tower stands proudly in Italy as one of the most famous tourists’ destinations in the world. A mixture of grey and white Marble used to build up this amazing bell tower to escort some other great infrastructures in the piazza. The Tower of Pisa stands at about 185 high as a huge example of Romanesque style.

·         The Washington Monument

This great Washington Monument has listed as one of the most famous infrastructures in the United States. This huge Marble architecture stands 555 feet into the sky of Washington DC. The incredible monument designed by Robert Mills in the year of 1848 comes with two unique colors due to the different time lengths for each section was constructed with materials from a different mine. In addition to this, the sunlight also has played a great role in its different colors.

·         The Odeon of Herodes Atticus Theater

Well, even the Ancient Greeks have found out the value of Marble constructing to make a great theatre such as this gorgeous Odeon of Herode Atticus Theater. Marble has been used for almost all parts on this theater and has lasted for about more than 5000 years! This has assured that Marble is a durable stone that will last throughout the time.

·         The Statue of David

The elegant and durability of Marble has impressed Michelangelo to make a famous Statue of David, which has been observed as the best statue that men ever created in this world. This Statue of David stands 17 feet tall and proud as an illustration of David, a great biblical hero during the renaissance era. This historical statue was sculpted from a white Marble and placed in the Housed in Italy.

Marble has made its own reputation throughout history

Now, it is an unquestionable fact that Marble is a natural stone that has always been loved for ages. Various cultures that available in the world have added Marble somewhere within their journey. This lovely natural stone called Marble actually comes from limestone that has been trampled and then exposed to high temperature throughout time. An exclusive signature look from Marble can be seen as a powder-pale white along with those overextended grey strains.

Even though, marble can derive in a great assortment of colors along with different unique patterns. Yes, Marble has, indeed, made its own reputation to the world, throughout history.
