Chapter 1 – Introduction of Fruit Ninja
Now, you might already know about
Fruit Ninja. But if you don’t know about it, here is its quick introduction.
Fruit Ninja is actually a video
game and it was developed by Halfbrick. In 2010, it was released for iPhone
devices and in just a little time, it was released for other Android OS devices
as well. This game allows players to slice fruits which are thrown into the air
just by swiping the touch screen of the device with their finger.
The game features multiplayer,
leaderboards, and several gameplay modes. Fruit Ninja consumes approximately
150MBs on mobile phones. You can install the game from the store of any device
that you are running as it is compatible with the game.
Gameplay of Fruit Ninja
As soon as you open the game, you
are first asked to insert your age be swiping your finger on the bar. You can
tell choose your age before proceeding. It appears after the sign of Halfbrick
on the screen. After waiting for only a few seconds, you will get to the part
where you have to tell your age.
Then, you will see the developer
sign again before you get to the real game. In the game, you get various levels
but only the first level is unlocked: Arcade.
Arcade is the only level unlocked
while the other levels are locked, which means that you have to clear the first
level before you can play other levels.
In Fruit Ninja, fruits are sliced
by a player with a blade which is controlled through the touch screen. As
fruits are thrown up, the player swipes their fingers or just a finger across
the screen for creating a slicing motion which allows him to slice the fruits
in half. It is important for players to swipe each and every fruit because if
they miss three fruits, the game ends but up scoring high, the player will gain
an extra life. In addition to it, bombs are thrown up and they will end the
game if the player slices these bombs.
Actually, when the second
anniversary was celebrated by Halfbrick, an update was released by it with a
new feature referred to as Gutsu’s Cart. It comprises two characters, Gutsu, a
human, and Truffles, a pig. By playing different modes in the game, players can
earn points and can then purchase items from the cart.
Actually, there are three items
which can be purchased and used in the game: a player is given five points with
Berry Blast and it makes sliced strawberries explode. Peachy Times is another
item and it awards the player with an additional two points when the player
slices a peach.
Bomb Deflect is the third item
which allows the player to shield from and deflect Bombs which have been
sliced. In addition to it, after each game, starfruit can be obtained by
slicing the semi-rare fruit, which is proportional to the score. When the fifth
anniversary was celebrated, another update was released in which Gutsu’s Car
was removed and a power-up menu replaced it which used starfruit for purchasing
the three power-ups in the game.
Second Chapter – Game Mode Instructions of Fruit
Ninja
As explained above, there are three
basic modes which are available to players that they can play. Classic is the
most basic one and it is also the only level which is unlocked. As soon as you
enter your age, you will be taken to the actual game in which you will see a
number of circles with modes written in them. The first one is classic and you
will see that watermelon is in the circle. There are many other modes that you
might want to try but in order to unlock them, you have to play this mode
first.
If you wait long enough, you will
see a simulated hand swiping at the watermelon. It is indicating that in order
to start the game, you need to slice the watermelon in the classic circle. When
you slice the watermelon, the screen will disappear and a wooden background
will replace it.
A character named Katsuro will
appear and he will tell you to open the blade list for selecting the blade that
you want to use. There will also be a tab in which you will see the basic blade
that you have equipped. This is the default blade and in order to change the
blade, you will first have to earn points and unlock them.
Next, the character will tell you
to choose the Dojo where you want to play. The wooden dojo is the basic one.
After that, you will be asked to select the power-ups that you need. I suggest
refraining from using these power-ups as soon as you start because at first,
you don’t have the necessary information to use them best in the game. You can
use the power-ups in the mode once you have played it a few times. Lastly, you
will be asked to slice the watermelon again for starting the classic mode.
Once you do that, you receive a
countdown in which it is written that if you slice a combination of fruits, you
will get a higher score. It also tells you that you should not slice the bombs
or miss fruits because it will end the mode. Once the countdown hits 0, the
mode begins and fruit is thrown up.
On the top right corner, there are
three crosses which indicate how many fruits you have missed while on the top
left corner, you can see a half watermelon with a zero score. As you slice the
fruits, the score will increase. If you do not miss any fruit for a short time,
you get special scores in the form of Critical. It awards you ten points and
you get it again if you continue to score without missing a fruit.
As you continue to slice fruits,
you will be introduced to a pomegranate. It is not a common fruit and as soon
as you slice it, you will notice the time slowing down. It is because this
fruit is quite special. The slowing down of time indicates that you can slice
it as many times as you can without stopping. For example, if you manage to
slice it 20 times, it will earn you twenty points in just that short span. How
good is that?
By slicing the pomegranate various
times, you can earn lots of points in a short amount of time. However, the
classic mode is not limited to just this.
You will notice that as you
continue to advance in the game and near a hundred points, bombs will become
more frequent. Instead of just appearing after a short while, they will appear
every now and then and in between fruits, which serves to make it difficult for
the player to avoid them.
However, you have to avoid these
bombs and ensure that you are cutting only the fruits. Once again, as you score
without hitting a bomb, you will get an extra ten points. Critical is a type of award which you get when you continue to play
in an efficient manner. In addition to it, you might notice some banners
popping up from the top with little trophies. Actually, these are the
achievements that you get when you get awards and score.
Since the pomegranate is introduced
every now and then if you continue to play, you are again given the chance to
land sold twenty to thirty hits on it and earn all the additional points that
you can without any difficulty.
Once you get a high score in the
classic mode, you are able to level up quickly. In fact, in your first try, you
can level up and get to the second level. Leveling up has some perks which you
will certainly enjoy. For instance, as you advance to the second level, Zen
Mode is unlocked and you can play in that mode as well.
Zen Mode of Fruit Ninja
After reaching the second level,
you will notice the lock on Zen Mode breaking itself. It means you can slice
the apple for playing in Zen.
Now, Zen mode is quite different
from Classic mode. In fact, it has a completely different set of rules. First
of all, there is a timer set in this mode of just a minute and a half. At this
time, you have to score and beat your previous score.
Cutting each fruit awards you only
a single point and you have to continue slicing to earn points. You will notice
that there is not even a single bomb in this mode. It is true that this mode is
like a simple one in which you thrive to beat your previous score within the
specified limit.
Similar to the Classic mode, if you
score high in this level, you will advance to the third level and it will some
significant perks with it. For instance, it will unlock three different blades.
Meanwhile, if you advance to the fourth level, it will unlock the Arcade Mode.
As you play the Zen Mode, you will
notice that you are given the opportunity to hit combos in this mode as well.
It might come in the form of different fruits but you are certainly given the
chance to make combos in this mode as well.
In addition to the combos, you will
notice starfruit on the screen. You will also notice that it will have a yellow
colored glow around it. Actually, it indicates that this fruit is quite special
and slicing it will provide you with more score. If you slice the starfruit, it
will award you an additional of 75 Bonus Points.
As you advance and continue to play
the Zen Mode, you will notice that new types of fruit will also enter and
slicing them will allow you to gain even higher scores. For instance, if you
slice a glowing strawberry, it will award you an additional of five points. Then
there is an Ultra Rare Fruit which provides you with an additional 50 points
and you are able to get these points by just slicing the fruit.
Other than just gaining fruits
which allow you to gain extra points, you get special peaches as well. If you
cut a Glowing Peach, it will offer you an additional 2 seconds in the Zen Mode.
Another significant advantage of
Ultra-Rare Fruit is that when it is tossed up and you slice it if it is not cut
in a half, it means you are still awarded a point. It also means that you can
just continue to slice it and earn as many points as you want. Still, there
will be a point when this fruit will be sliced in half and it will give you 50
more points. However, it is important to note that in such a situation, these
fruits tend to be jumpy and you have to avoid missing them or else you are not
awarded additional points.
Arcade Mode of Fruit
Ninja
As you advance to the Arcade Mode,
you will notice that you get new power-ups and you have different blades to
choose from as well. In this mode, rules are different and it is quite
different from Zen Mode.
As soon as you slice Arcade Mode,
you will notice some instructions popping up. It will guide that you should not
miss special bananas and you should also focus on getting combos for scoring
high. It also tells you that if you slice a bomb, it will serve to deduct your
score. You will 10 points if you slice a purple bomb.
As you slice fruits, you will
notice that you are awarded Critical in this mode as well. It will award you 10
points.
As you make a combo, you get in the
Combo Blitz mode in which you are awarded significantly for slicing combos. While
playing, you will notice a Yellow Banana with Orange Stripes. If you slice it,
you will get in the Frenzy mode. In the Frenzy mode, fruits are not thrown up
from the bottom but from the sides in the form of several packets. It means
that you are given the opportunity to make lots of combos and score
significantly. In the Frenzy mode, if you continue to make combos, you are
again awarded a Critical. In addition to it, if you slice a Starfruit, it gives
you an additional of 200 bonus points.
Although bombs are not thrown up at
the start of this mode, you will notice bombs being throw up in a combination
with other fruits. You have to avoid these bombs or else you will experience a
loss of ten points in your score with each bomb. In the Combo Blitz, if you
slice another orange striped banana, you will again enter the Frenzy mode and
if you continue to make combos, the blitz will continue as well.
In this manner, you will score
significantly. Pomegranate is thrown at this level as well and you already know
that you can slice it multiple times. As many cuts you make, you are awarded
the same points. It is up to you to make as many slices as you want. If you do
not hit any bomb in the level, you will get a bonus of 10 points for it and
there will be bonus for some other acts as well. Your bonus will be added to
your score and if your score is sufficient, it will allow you to advance to
another level, which means that you will advance to the fifth level in no time.
Another special banana in the
Arcade Mode is the frozen one. If you slice the frozen banana, it will freeze
time for you. Although it will freeze the time, it will not stop the flow of
fruits for you. It means you can continue to score in this mode as well. There
is just one drawback of this banana and that is the flow of fruits if slowed as
well. Fruits are thrown at a slow speed than before which means that you have
to heighten up your slicing speed to ensure high scores.
There is yet another special banana
which is blue and yellow striped. If you slice this banana, it will allow you
to enter the Double Point Mode. In this mode, whenever you slice a fruit, you
are awarded double for it. Just imagine getting an Ultra-Rare Fruit in this
phase!
Third Chapter – Game Scoring Rules of Fruit
Ninja
In this chapter, I will discuss the
scoring rules of Fruit Ninja. Actually, scoring rules are quite different for
each mode. For instance, scoring rules might be different from rules in Arcade
Mode than in the Classic Mode. Still, there are some general scoring rules as
well in this game. I will discuss them all.
General Points of Fruit
Ninja
Combos of Fruit Ninja
If you hit a 4-fruit combo, you
will get 5 points while if you hit a 5-fruit combo, you will get 10 points. If
you hit a 6-fruit combo, you will get 20 points. Meanwhile, if you hit a
7-fruit combo, you will get 30 points. If you hit an 8-fruit combo, you will
get 40 points and 50 points if you get a 9-fruit combo, which is quite tough to
get.
If you get a 10-fruit combo, you
are awarded 55 points. Combo Rookie gives you 10 points, Combo Apprentice gives
you 15 points, Combo Assassin gives you 25 points, Combo Master gives you 35
points, and Combo God gives you 50 points.
Bombs of Fruit Ninja
If you do not hit any bombs then
you are awarded 10 points while if you hit at least 3 bombs, you are awarded 50
points for it.
Fruits of Fruit Ninja
If you slice the same fruit when
you begin and when you finish the game, you will get 25 points for it. If you
do not slice any type of banana in the Arcade Mode, you will get 50 points for
it while 10 points if you slice all types of bananas. If you slice only Frenzy
bananas out of all types of bananas, you will be awarded 30 points and the same
score applies to Double bananas and Freeze bananas. If you do not let any type
of fruit drop, you will get 50 points and if you slice only strawberries, you
will get 100 points for it.
Multiples of Fruit Ninja
If you get a score divisible by
five, you will be awarded 10 points for it. You will get 20 points if you get a
score divisible by ten. If you get a score which is divisible by a hundred, you
will get 40 points.
Tasty Fruit gives you 5 points,
Fruit Mix gives you 5 points, Fruit Salad gives you 5 points, Juicy Slicing
gives you 5 points, Delicious Fruit gives you 5 points, Triple Digits gives you
50 points, and It’s so Beautiful gives you 75 points. You get these points when
you equip the Rainbow Blade.
Classic Mode of Fruit
Ninja
Scoring rules in the Classic Mode
are quite simple. For instance, if you slice fruit, you are awarded a point for
it. As you continue to slice fruits, you are awarded Critical which means that
you get an additional of 10 points. You are awarded Critical a number of times
as you place and continue to slice fruits. As I have explained above when you
continue to slice fruits, you will be introduced to a pomegranate. It is not a
common fruit and as soon as you slice it, you will notice the time slowing
down. It is because this fruit is quite special. It will allow you to land
various slices and cuts on the fruit. You get as many points as you land cuts
on the fruit. For example, if you are able to slice the fruit twenty times, you
will be awarded 20 points for it.
As you land combos in this mode,
the same scoring rules will apply. For instance, if you hit a 5-fruit combo,
you will get 10 points. An important point to remember in this mode is that as
soon as you cut a bomb, it will finish the game.
Zen Mode of Fruit Ninja
As soon as you begin the Zen Mode,
you will notice that it is not like the Classic Mode. In fact, it is quite
different. For starters, there is a time of 1:30 minutes and you have to score
in this limited time.
The same scoring rules apply to
this mode as well. For example, if you slice fruit, you are awarded a point for
it. In this mode as well, the scoring rules for combos stay the same. If you
land a 5-fruit combo, you are awarded 10 points for it. In the Zen Mode, if you
get the Ultra Rare Fruit, you will get 50 points. Meanwhile, if you notice that
it has bounced up and has not been sliced, you can land as many slices as you
want on it. It will continue to earn you points. However, you have to make sure
that you do not let this fruit slip away because it is quite a jumpy fruit and
slicing it is quite difficult.
In the Zen Mode, you will also
special peaches which will allow you to boost your timing to an additional of 2
seconds. Similarly, you are given strawberries and if you slice them, you are
allowed to get an addition of 5 points.
Arcade Mode of Fruit
Ninja
In general, Arcade Mode is quite
different from Zen Mode and Classic Mode. For instance, if you continue to land
combos in this mode, you enter the combo blitz mode which allows you to add
more combos and score additional points for all the combos that you make.
In this mode as well, you have a
timer which gives you only 1 minute to score and now it is up to you to utilize
this time to score the highest that you can. Although a single fruit gives you
only a single point, you are given the opportunity to slice the special bananas
and enter special modes which allow you to score even more. For instance, there
is a Double Score Banana, Frenzy Banana, and Freeze Banana which allow you to
enter special sub-modes in which you can score a lot.
You should note that you are given
Pomegranates and Ultra Rare Fruits in this mode as well. You already know about
how they let you score a lot by just slicing them.
Fourth Chapter – How to Get High Scores of Fruit
Ninja
In this chapter, I am going to let
you know about cheats, hints, and tips that you can use to get high scores in
Fruit Ninja.
1.
No Need to Purchase Starfruit with your
Money
In Fruit Ninja, starfruit is the
fundamental currency and you can use this currency for purchasing boosts and
other types of tools. Actually, it is one of the few games which need to
purchase in the game for advancing. The majority of objectives are quite easy
to accomplish and they can help you in gaining a lot of starfruits. In addition
to it, you can also watch short advertisements for earning starfruits and
purchasing boosts. Overall, this is how you can earn starfruits without using
your own money.
2.
No need to Use Long Swipes with Bombs
Near
Another tip is that you should not
use long swipes in the arcade mode while bombs are around fruits. Whenever
bombs are near, you should try brief and short swipes as they can help you in
avoiding bombs and scoring high. One of the main issues about Arcade Mode is
that you have to experience bombs and slice fruits while avoiding them.
When you are playing a mode in
which you have to avoid bombs, you should use short slices. Obviously, when you
use short and brief swipes, you will be able to avoid cutting the bombs.
Instead of cutting bombs, you will be capable of scoring high. It is true that
you need to score high but you should make sure to avoid bombs because they can
take away your scores. In the Classic Mode, if you swipe a bomb, it will even
end the game.
3.
Consider Peachy Times in Zen and Arcade
Modes for Boosting Your Score
Actually, Peachy Times is quite a
useful power-up if you have a thing for arcade mode. If you find this mode more
interesting and fun than other modes, you will certainly come to like the use
of Peachy Times in it. Each peach allows you to enjoy an extra 2 seconds.
Although it does not seem like a lot of time, when you tend to make combos, you
will find this time enough to score high. In fact, if you have a combo blitz
going on, two seconds can make quite a large difference.
Therefore, when you are playing in
Arcade mode, you should consider using Peachy Times for scoring high.
4.
Use only a Single Finger
I know that there are some guides
out there that tell you to use two or three fingers for slicing fruits to get a
high score. It is not true at all. I have plenty of experience with Fruit Ninja
and I know that using two or three fingers is not effective at all. In fact, it
serves to only eat away your time and nothing else. It does not allow you to
score high. When you are using two or three fingers, your aim is missing and
you are unable to land even a single combo.
Meanwhile, if you are using just a
single finger, your aim is precise and you can easily hit a combo without any
difficulty. In addition to it, you can land several combos quickly if you are
using a single finger. Just hold your device flat or place it on a flat surface
and swipe with a single finger. Believe me, it will be more than effective.
5.
Play Upside Down
Have you ever considered playing
upside down? If not, then you should try playing upside down because it works
quite fine for some people because technically, fruits appear from the bottom
and they go up. It is not the best strategy but it can work incredibly well for
people who want to score quickly. However, it is important to remember that
playing upside-down prevents you from avoiding bombs because you do not have
enough time to identify bombs and dodge them.
6.
Slice Multiple Bananas of Fruit
Ninja
One of the most powerful ways of
scoring high is to slice multiple bananas in Arcade Mode. For instance, as I
have told you before, there are three types of bananas which are introduced in
the Arcade Mode. Each banana has its own function. For instance, if you are
doing combos in the Frenzy mode, you will notice scoring higher than before.
While doing that, if you slice the Freeze banana, it will freeze the time and
will also enable you to hit more combos. Just think about all the
possibilities!
It will allow you to hit more
combos then you have ever hit. If you have not tried it yet, you should
definitely check it as soon as possible. You might not get the chance to hit
multiple bananas in your first attempt but you can certainly get it and hit
combos.
7.
Don’t Miss Berry Blasts of Fruit
Ninja
There are several times when you
are given berry blasts and upon slicing, they can award you with 5 points each.
For example, if you slice a berry, it will give you 5 points. If you continue
to slice them every now and then, you will earn a lot of points. In the end, it
will add a significant score to your overall score. Thus, it would not be wrong
to say that it is one of the simplest ways of scoring high in the game.
8.
Complete your Objectives of Fruit
Ninja
In Fruit Ninja, completing
objectives is actually another simple method of racking up starfruit. As I have
told you above, starfruit is the main currency in the game and as you complete
the objectives, you will earn a significant amount of starfruit. Some of the
objectives might need you to purchase powerups for completing them. However,
they do not cost you a ton and they are quite fun to use. I have never paid to
skip any type of objective and it costs a lot of starfruits.
Instead of skipping objectives and
even paying for it, you can just complete the objectives and earn starfruit. This
is one of the simple methods of earning starfruit. You can just keep the track
of objectives and complete them accordingly.
9.
Purchase Blades of Fruit Ninja
In Fruit Ninja, there are plenty of
blades available to you. However, you have to purchase them to use these
blades. You might think that these blades have no real purpose and they are
just for the show. Actually, it is not like that. There are different blades
and they have their own benefits. For instance, if you purchase the Old Glory
blade, it will allow you to pinpoint a number of fruits and they will be
highlighted with a ring around them. In addition to it, their descent will be
slowed down.
There are several items which are
affected by it. The affected items include starfruit, pomegranates, Peachy
Time, Gutsu’s Crates, Golden Dragon Fruit, Ghostly Traps, Frenzy Bananas,
Freeze Bananas, Dragon Fruit, Double Point Bananas, and Berry Blasts. All of
these items are highlighted by the blade and they are slowed down so that you
can slice them easily. There are many other blades which are available in Fruit
Ninja and they have their own special powers.
10. Purchase
King Dragon Dojo
Another incredible method of
earning high scores is to purchase King Dragon Dojo. It is quite a special dojo
and it is different from the rest of the dojos as well. For instance, it allows
you to slice the Golden Dragon Fruit which is yet another special fruit. It
awards you 50 points and if it is not sliced, it gives you the opportunity to
slice it several times to earn as many points. This is yet another way through
which you can get a high score.
11. Slice
Fruits on the Top
As you continue to play Fruit
Ninja, you will come to know some certain aspects of it. For instance, you will
come to know that when fruits reach the top of the screen, they become quite
slow. In addition to it, it also gives you a fine opportunity to land a combo.
Thus, when you are playing in any mode, you should try to swipe when fruits
reach the top of the screen. This is the perfect time for landing combos and
scoring high.
12. Let
the Fruit Drop
It has happened to me numerous
times before I came over it. In the Classic Mode, there are times when you are
faced with the choice of either dropping the fruit or slashing a bomb. In such
a situation, it is important to know that losing a life is better than losing
the game. If you are facing a situation when you either have to let fruit go or
slice the bomb, you should just let the fruit drop. It will give you the chance
to continue scoring. Moreover, as you continue to pay in the mode without
dropping any other fruit, you will notice that one life is recovered.
Thus, when you are playing the
Classic Mode, you should not be afraid of losing a life. Just remember that it
is a lot better than losing the whole game by slicing a bomb.
13. Listen
of Fruit Ninja
As I explained above, as you
continue to play the game, you get familiar with some specific things and
aspects. For instance, if you play the game with its sound turned on, you will
be able to differentiate between fruits and bombs. In fact, a time will come
when you will be able to notice that a bomb is going to come up and you can
easily avoid slicing the bomb. This also allows you to earn a high score
because you lose points when you hit a bomb either in the Classic Mode or in
the Arcade Mode. By turning on the sound, you can differentiate between bombs
and fruits. In fact, it is quite a simple tactic.
14. Focus
on Pomegranate
In the previous sections as well, I
have explained that pomegranate is quite a special type of fruit. If you slice
this fruit, instead of awarding you with only a single point, it awards you a
lot of points. However, it is important to remember that you need to slice it a
couple of times to earn several points. For example, if you want to earn 20
points then you need to slice it twenty times as well. As many times as you
will slice it, you will earn the same number of points.
It is quite an effective method of
earning high scores. By just slicing the pomegranate a couple of times, you can
just earn several points.
15. Use
Autumn Gust Blade for Slicing Fruits
I will explain it in the coming chapter
that you can unlock the Autumn Gust Blade when you reach Level 27. This blade
tends to generate tornadoes which are capable of sucking in fruits for a few
seconds whenever you slice a pineapple. This blade makes it quite easier to
rack up high combinations for getting higher scores with this blade as it seems
to group fruits together. The tornadoes which are generated by this fruit also
provide you with more time for slicing fruits which is quite important in the
Classic Mode since you have only a little time for scoring. However, it is also
important to remember that you need to level up significantly for getting this
blade.
16. Use
Great Wave Dojo when you Play Arcade Mode
You can unlock the Great Wave Dojo
when you reach Level 12. This dojo can help you in scoring high. For instance,
this dojo tosses a line or a wave of fruits for you to swipe through and make a
combo. For Arcade Mode, this dojo is ideal as you are able to swipe through ten
fruits for more combo blitz and higher combos. In fact, some players have
reported that they have been able to score more than 2,000 by selecting this
dojo in the Arcade mode. If you combine this dojo with an Ice Blade, you will
be able to swipe even more fruits as this blade allows you to cut even more
fruits whenever you slice a Freeze banana.
It is, however, quite important to
note that this dojo is not effective for Classic mode in which you cannot miss
three fruits. You will need to slice at least nine of the ten fruits in the
Classic mode for taking advantage of the dojo and staying in the Classic mode
or else the game will be over before you even know it.
17. Use
Short Swipes on Pomegranates
In Fruit Ninja, pomegranates award
you with as many points as you make slices. It means that you need to make as
many slices on this fruit as you can without missing. Thus, you should consider
using short swipes on pomegranates. It will help in swiping various times and
earning just as many points. If you make long swipes, you will only be able to
land a few swipes before the pomegranate explodes. However, if you make short
swipes, you will notice that you will be able to make multiple swipes in a
short amount of time.
18. Use
Shiny Red in Arcade
You can unlock the Shiny Red blade
when you reach Level 7. This blade allows you to get critical which is worth 25
points. It is quite different from the normal critical which gives you only 10
points. If you use this blade in the Arcade mode where you have the chance of
hitting more combos and slicing more fruits in any other mode, you will be able
to land a couple of critical without much difficulty. Just imagine getting a
couple of critical in the Arcade mode which are worth 25 points each. It will
be more than just a little effective in scoring high.
19. Use
Flame Blade for Leveling up Faster
In Fruit Ninja, you should already
know that what matters the most is to advance and level up quickly. However,
leveling up is quite a time-consuming process and it can take a lot of time to
level up. What to do to level up quickly? Well, you can use Flame Blade for
starts. You are able to unlock it when you reach Level 10. By just using this
blade in different modes, you will be able to advance quickly. It will help you
in climbing up the levels and unlocking many other dojos and blades which will
help you in scoring high.
20. Use
Princess Blade in Arcade Mode
Another way of scoring high is to
use Princess Blade in Arcade mode. You can unlock this blade when you reach
Level 11. This blade allows you to make double points triple in the Arcade
mode. When you slice the Double point banana in the Arcade mode, this blade
will make it triple. Although it might seem like a great way of scoring high,
it can make quite a huge difference if you combine it with the Frenzy or Freeze
banana. It will allow you to land combos and score significantly. For every
combo, you will be able to score a lot and, in the end, it will add a lot of
additional score to your score.
21. Use
Water Blade with Great Wave Dojo
As I have said, in the Great Wave
Dojo, you get waves of fruits which enable you to slice combos without any
difficulty and it allows you to score high. When you use it with the Arcade
mode, it increases the likelihood of hitting combos and scoring significantly
higher than in any other mode. You can increase the power of Great Wave dojo
even more by using the Water Blade. You can unlock this blade at Level 19 and
it allows you to make even more combos. Just think about hitting combos in the
Double phase when you are awarded double points for each and every fruit that
you slice.
22. Use
Golden Ember Blade
If you are truly a score enthusiast
and want nothing more than just to set high score records, you should use
Golden Ember Blade for scoring high in Fruit Ninja. It is a top-class blade and
you are able to unlock it only when you reach Level 100. It seems to double
each and every score that you make in a fiery blaze. What you need to do is to
equip this blade in the Arcade Mode and continue to make circles around the
fruits. It will double your score. Just think about slicing the Ultra-Rare
fruit with this blade and getting double scores for it.
Fifth Chapter – Special Reward Points
In Fruit Ninja, there are some
special reward points that you can ger. In this chapter, I am going to tell you
about these special reward points and how you can get them.
Combos of Fruit Ninja
I have explained it in the previous
chapters as well that if you hit a 4-fruit combo, you will get 5 points while
if you hit a 5-fruit combo, you will get 10 points. If you hit a 6-fruit combo,
you will get 20 points. Meanwhile, if you hit a 7-fruit combo, you will get 30
points. If you hit an 8-fruit combo, you will get 40 points and 50 points if
you get a 9-fruit combo, which is quite tough to get. Meanwhile, if you get a
10-fruit combo, you are awarded 55 points. Combo God gives you 50 points, Combo
Master gives you 35 points, Combo Assassin gives you 25 points, Combo Rookie
gives you 10 points, and Combo Apprentice gives you 15 points.
Tasty Fruit gives you 5 points, Fruit Mix gives you 5
points, Fruit Salad gives you 5 points, Juicy Slicing gives you 5 points,
Delicious Fruit gives you 5 points, Triple Digits gives you 50 points, and It’s
so Beautiful gives you 75 points. You get these points when you equip the
Rainbow Blade.
Pomegranate of Fruit
Ninja
In a way, pomegranate is a special
fruit which allows you to earn extra points without doing any effort. In fact,
you are introduced to this fruit at various levels and it allows you to earn
multiple points. For example, you are able to earn several points if you slice
it several times. Let’s suppose that you slice it twenty times. Once you stop
slicing it, you will earn 20 points.
Ultra-Rare Fruit
This is yet another special fruit
and it allows you to earn additional and special points. It has two functions
and forms. If you are able to slice it in the first try, you are awarded 50
points. However, if you are not able to slice it for the first time, you should
know that you can earn even more points than 50. For instance, if you are
unable to slice it, you can slice it various times and whenever you slice it,
you earn a point. Let’s say that you slice it twenty-five times before it is
sliced. It will make you earn 75 points.
Golden Ember Blade of
Fruit Ninja
This is yet another special blade
which will allow you to earn a lot of points. It allows you to earn special
reward points. For instance, this blade has the attribute of doubling your
score in the fiery blaze. Although it might seem impossible, it is really true.
You can unlock this bald from the list of blades and use it to double your
points.
Earn Achievements of
Fruit Ninja
Another way through which you get
special reward points is to earn achievements. You can check out the
requirements for achievements and perform accordingly in the modes. For
instance, there is an achievement which requires you to miss all bananas in
Arcade Mode. If you complete the achievement, you will get points for it.
Similarly, there are numerous achievements which you can complete and earn
special points in return.
Sixth Chapter – Cut the Pitch of Different Fruits
In this chapter, I am going to
introduce different fruits which are available to you.
Some common fruits in Fruit Ninja
include watermelons, mangoes, pineapples, coconuts, strawberries, red apples,
green apples, kiwi fruit, bananas, lemons, limes, oranges, plums, pears, and
passion fruit.
You get peaches in all modes except
the Frenzy mode. Meanwhile, you get tomatoes in Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots. You
get pumpkins in Fruit Ninja Frenzy: Halloween Edition, cherries in all games,
dragon fruit in classic mode and arcade mode. You get pomegranates in classic
mode and arcade mode. In addition to it, you get starfruit in every game except
frenzy mode. You get Frenzy banana, Double score banana, and freeze Banana in
only Arcade Mode. Peachy Times are available in every game with the exception
of classic mode and frenzy mode. Meanwhile, you get Berry Blast in every game
with the exception of Frenzy. You get +1 Second Lemon in each and every game
with the exception of Classic Mode. You get Golden Dragon Fruit in Zen and
Arcade Modes.
These are all the fruits and you
can slice a number of fruits together to earn combos. There are different
combos that you can get.
If you hit a 4-fruit combo, you
will get 5 points while if you hit a 5-fruit combo, you will get 10 points. If
you hit a 6-fruit combo, you will get 20 points. Meanwhile, if you hit a
7-fruit combo, you will get 30 points. If you hit an 8-fruit combo, you will
get 40 points and 50 points if you get a 9-fruit combo, which is quite tough to
get. Meanwhile, if you get a 10-fruit combo, you are awarded 55 points. Combo
God gives you 50 points, Combo Master gives you 35 points, Combo Assassin gives
you 25 points, Combo Rookie gives you 10 points, and Combo Apprentice gives you
15 points.
Actually, if you are a combo-lover
and want your combos to be awarded exceptionally, you should play the Arcade
Mode. It provides you with the opportunity to hit combos and experience the combo
blitz. In fact, when you enter the Frenzy mode, you are allowed to cut even
more fruits together while hitting combos. In addition to it, if you are doing
combos in the Frenzy mode, you will notice scoring higher than before. While
doing that, if you slice the Freeze banana, it will freeze the time and will
also enable you to hit more combos.
Seventh Chapter – Item Introduction of Fruit
Ninja
In Fruit Ninja, there are various
items available to players. For instance, there are blades, powerups, and
backgrounds. I will introduce these items in this chapter.
Blades of Fruit Ninja
In general, blades refer to the
weapons which are used in slicing fruits. Each blade tends to leave a special
trail behind as you swipe it on the screen. Blades are commonly unlocked
through achievements and as you advance to higher levels. For instance, there
are some basic blades which you are able to unlock quite quickly. All it takes
is to advance to a few higher levels.
Elite blades refer to the blades
which have to be purchased with starfruit currency. Although there are only
four elite blades in Fruit ninja including Princess Blade, Rock Blade, Sakura
Slicer, and Lightning Bolt, the free version has seven more blades including
the Cloud Kicker, Rainbow Blade, Bamboo Shoot, Party Time, The Shadow, Ice
Blade, and the Flame Blade.
In the 2.0 version, different
powers were gained by some blades and their powers are revealed after you level
up. There are Additional Blades as well which are unlocked only after you reach
the 30 level. There are some other blades can be found in the section of
‘Events’ which cannot be used or unlocked through starfruits. Only real money
is used for unlocking them.
As of 2.3.4 version, new powers for
blades and backgrounds have been added in the game. However, these powers are
available only to the players who are playing the paid version of the game. Overall,
there are different types of blades and they have different powers.
For instance, Old Glory is a blade
which allows you to identify special types of fruits and even slows the fruits
to make sure that you clearly land a slice on them.

Ninja
At the Novice Level, you get the
Basic Blade that costs you nothing and it has no power. Cloud Kicker is yet

revealing the power of Golden Ember Blade. In a fiery blaze, this blade will
double all your score.
Backgrounds or Dojos of
Fruit Ninja
Sometimes backgrounds are called
walls and these are the patterns which are seen behind the fruits. They do not
have any impact on the game as they are only there for aesthetic effects. Meanwhile,
Elite Backgrounds are the ones which have to be purchased through starfruit
currency. Although there are only two such backgrounds in Fruit Ninja, the free
version seems to have an addition of three backgrounds in this category
including Cloudy skies, Parchment, and King Dragon.

At Novice Level, you have the Basic

These are the backgrounds.

Eighth Chapter – Various Releases of Fruit Ninja
In this chapter, I am going to
discuss various releases of Fruit Ninja.
Concept of Fruit Ninja
The original concept of Fruit Ninja
came from a late-night infomercial for knives. It involved fruits being thrown
up in front of a blank background and slicing them. Actually, it took one month
for 4 people to develop Fruit Ninja.
Apr 2010 of Fruit Ninja
On the 20th of April in
2010, Fruit Ninja was released and it took only four months for it to be
released for Windows Phone, Android, and iPad. The first update was introduced
after only a week and it introduced new fruits, the ability to slice more than
one fruit, and a high score maker.
May 2010 of Fruit Ninja
Zen Mode was developed according to
the feedback of players. It was quite an accessible and simple way of cutting
fruits in comparison with the Classic Mode.
November 2010 of Fruit
Ninja
Arcade Mode was introduced in the
update which was made in November 2010. It was actually quite a hit among fans.

wheel and Fruit Smoothies.
May 2012 of Fruit Ninja

you to earn Golden Apples.
Ninth Chapter – Conclusion of Fruit Ninja
So, this brings us to the end of
this guide book. I have already told you everything that I wanted in this book.
In this chapter, I am going to give you some final remarks.
A Game is not Always Just a Game
I have heard people saying: It
is just a game. Why do you spend so much time over it? What is special about
it?
It is true that Fruit Ninja is a
game. However, for some, it is one of the main stress-relievers and sources of
enjoyment. We all have different perspectives and you might not see Fruit Ninja
from my perspective but I have never considered it a game. I have always
considered it my stress-reliever. Whenever I would have stress or
work-pressure, I would play this game it would help me in relieving my stress
and even gaining joy.
I truly believe that some games are
not just games. They are what help some people in staying happy.
So, other than just aiming to score
high, try to play it for the sake of playing for a day. You will find that it
will not relieve your stress but by the end of your game, you will also have a higher
score than before.
Life is all about Balance
You might have already heard about
how balance is important in life. Actually, it really is important in every
aspect of life, whether it is emotions, work and social life, or even education
and sports. What I am trying to say that although Fruit Ninja is a special
game, you should also focus on other important things in your life. What you
need is balance in your life.
Balance is what makes you live up
to the fullest of your life. For instance, if you are a student, complete your
studies first and play after that or you can play first and study afterward. It
is up to you to choose and if you are a person who is working then you should
complete your work first before playing. What you should aim for is to achieve
balance in your life.
If you are excessive in playing, it
will affect your personal life. Meanwhile, if you are excessive in studying or
working, it will affect your physiologically and psychologically. You need to
achieve a balance between these two aspects. If you are able to do that, you
are good to go!
An easy way of doing this is to
play the game when you have finished other tasks. It will serve to give you a
sense of satisfaction that you have completed your primary responsibilities
before you have used some time to play the game that you wanted.
It is quite simple.
