Bank is a renowned service provider and it offers asset management, private
banking, retail banking, and corporate banking to people. In 2018, the assets
of the bank were 31.9 billion dollars which made it one of the largest names
present in Oman. It has over 150 branches in Oman. For Muscat Bank, it is
considered critical to meet customer demands and remain effective in the
market. However, there is an issue faced by it in the form of employee
dissatisfaction which has resulted in the loss of efficiency. In this paper,
this issue will be evaluated, its link to other areas of organisation will be
discussed, and different techniques will be explored for recommending the best
solution to be implemented by Muscat Bank (BankMuscat, 2020).

In recent times, managers at Muscat
Bank have determined a loss in efficiency as the work expectations are not
being met by employees. It has resulted in the inability of Muscat Bank to meet
customer demands. This poses a major risk to the whole organisation because if
this issue is not resolved quickly, it can result in loss of customer
satisfaction and bad reputation of the organisation. However, in order to
resolve this issue, its underlying causes have to be identified first.

Considering the fact that employees
are not meeting work standards, it is adversely influencing the profitability

Diagram. Both of them will be utilised to determine the issues and their
underlying causes which are adversely influencing Muscat Bank. In general,
these techniques have been selected for analysing the issues because they are
some of the most time-efficient and simple techniques. In addition to it, there
are no additional resources which are required for performing these analyses.
Otherwise, there are various analyses which are complex and they even require
additional resources to be utilised (Ilie & Ciocoiu, 2010).
