Helping
people in their difficult times, both in personal and professional life
For example, I think of the time
that:
I
still remember that day when the fire broke out in our county in a nearby
house, and it is a horrific incident to remember. You jumped in the fire to
help the inmates for the evacuation, and successfully did so. You not only
helped the human lives but also made sure that possible valuable items can also
be saved from the fire. Once the fire was over, you also helped the poor
inmates of that house in rebuilding their house, and also helped one of their
males to get a job in a nearby store.
1.
One
of the ways that you add value and make important contributions is:
Getting
us out of trouble by giving us useful feedback and support in policy making
For example, I think of the time
that:
We were working on a project
assigned by our supervisor, and it was our duty to derive a project plan, how things
will be carried out. We were stuck at one point for the last two days regarding
the timeline of the project, and then you came in. You asked the problem,
analyzed the whole project details, and helped us to prepare a flexible
timeline for our project. Your support and guidance made things easier for us
to move towards the next step.
2.
One
of the ways that you add value and make important contributions is:
We
missed our deadline of the project, and we were just given extra 12 hours to
complete it
For example I think of the time that:
It is never easy to recover from any
missed targets, especially when the project is critical. We missed the deadline
and only 16 hours were given to us to get this done as per the expected plan.
We were all discouraged and hopeless that it is impossible to do in 16 hours.
But then you gave us the courage and provided guidance. You divided work into
different categories assigned to each group member, and you tirelessly worked
for the whole night, and in the end, we did it in a given time.
