Modell
Deutschland is a German model concerning with the democratic, federal,
corporatist, and welfare state. This model is named as “Deutschland” which is
German term standing for songs. In this model, all unions working for the
industrial sector of Germany are required to work according to the industry
level councils. Negotiation system with employees promotes democratic systems.
Modell Deutschland is a success as it provides union powers in the industrial
sector while aligning the activities with the federal requirements and needs.
Moreover, it promotes the development of
welfare state in the society by the emphasis on the behavioural development of
German citizens. Modell emphasis on the skills learning, long term democratic
politics and apprenticeships for experts providing training to the workforces
and citizens of Germany. Concerning with the educational training of the
employees and its focus on unions it can be said that this model is a
corporatist model. Consequently, Modell Deutschland is a success as it concerns
with industrial development as well as community development in Germany (Deeg, 2005) (Economist.com,
2012)
