Introduction
of Explanation of a
relationship between creativity, design and innovation
Purpose
of writing an essay is to show the difference between
Creativity, Design and Innovation. All these terms are different but they
relate with one another. Another purpose of writing this essay is to show how
these terms causes an impact on the growth of business. This essay will further
make things clear between Creativity, Innovation and Design. Scope of this
essay is really helpful as things will get clear in the minds of all people
that how they are so much important towards the growth of a business.
Furthermore,
here we will look into the detail of the people that work in the business
organizations. There are number of different people who work together and then
make that organization successful. Here in this report we are going to talk
about some of those factors that helps in the stimulation as well as inhibition
of the creativity along with the innovation in the individuals that helps in
making a business organization successful. Particularly we are going to look to
the development and the motivation of the people working in any of the
organization, along with their capacity and creativity for the innovation. All
these are the factors that work in context of different organizations in which
people work in. (Nnadi, 2014)
Statement: Organizations
can make very little impact on strengthening creativity, innovation and design
thinking processes as these are dependent on individual employees'.
Scope
of the essay is to tell us that design is the process
and there are many business companies that easily knows it’s a route for the
successful innovation. By all of the good innovation methods, it needs to get
open, research based, collaborative and customer centered as well. In many of
the forward thinking business companies, this design gets used at almost every
level of the business from the high level strategy and then helping out to find
out the new ways for the growth process towards the detailed implementation by
making this ensure that almost every customer experiences is as productive and
rewarding as possible. The design process has also evolved and it can also be
applied to develop almost any of the new service or the product. Design is
something that applies equally to all the early stages of research as it also
does to the late developmental stages. (Imhonopi, 2008) All factors such as creativity, design,
and innovation depends upon an individual, the skills they have, experience,
motivation, attitude along with the energies as well. Through all these
abilities, I mean their motivation or the inclination to do the jobs and then
earn wages. Individuals are the ones that can do anything better or they can
even make it even worse.
Yes,
I completely agree with the statement that Creativity, design and innovations
plays a major role in giving out unique ideas and make things work properly. While
on the other hand, I also agree that factors that helps in the stimulation as
well as inhibition of the creativity along with the innovation in the
individuals that helps in making a business organization successful.
Impact
of Creativity, Design and innovation and Influencing Factors
Impact
of Creativity, Design and innovation towards the business growth,
sustainability and wealth creation. Creativity is a complete act that helps out
in turning unique, new, different and imaginative kind of the ideas into
reality. Creativity is being characterized through the ability to perceive the
whole new world in different and new ways to find out about the patterns that
are hidden to make out the connections between the seemingly unrelated
phenomena that also helps out in generating the different kind of solutions. Moreover,
design is the specification or a plan for the construction of a complete new
system or an object or for the sake of an implementation of any kind of a
process or an activity. It can also be the result of any plan or the specification
in the form of product, process or the prototype. There are different kind of
the designs present that works accordingly. Somehow, the term innovation
represents something that deliberates the application of an information then
imagination and to take an initiative in the deriving of different and great
values from different resources and it also includes all of the methods or the
processes through which generation of new ideas are being taken place and then
successfully converted into the useful products. As talked above, creativity is
the generation of new ideas, innovation is the successful exploitation of all
the new ideas and design is something that helps in making an association or
link between the creativity and innovation. (Kinicki, 2015)
Business
growth is the stage where a business reaches to that certain point for the
expansion and also seeks the additional options to get more of the profit.
Business growth is a complete function of the business lifecycle, different
trends of the industry growth along with the desire of an owner for the equity value
creation. Yes I agree that there is a huge impact of creativity, design and
innovation towards the business growth is all these three factors goes hand in
hand. Creativity helps a lot in improving the process of all the solving
problems. It doesn’t matter at all whether if we are talking about the
development of a new strategy or any of the innovative way to stay ahead of all
the competition. Design is also much impactful towards the growth of business
as it helps out in creating new and unique ideas for all of them to grow in a
successful way. Creativity is a kind of spark that every business leader needs
to have to achieve out their goals which they have in their minds. Business
leaders who stick towards this creativity and innovative ideas they get
successful in the growth of a business. (Davidsson, 2002). Sustainability mainly focuses on
meeting up all of the needs of the present time without even compromising on
the ability of all the future generations to meet the demands. Sustainability
plays a very important in the business as it helps in the management along with
the coordination of environmental, social and all of the financial needs along
with the concerns as well to ensure the responsible, ethical and the ongoing success.
There is a great impact of all the three factors which are Design, Creativity
and innovation towards the sustainability in the business. It helps a lot in
giving out the ideas that needs to be taken and considered on the daily basis
to be applied on the sustainability of a business. So I agree with this that
yes these factors are very important towards the sustainability. (Sharma, 2010). Although, wealth
creation is something that is commonly understood to be the exercise in an
investing process. It is a kind of delayed strategy of wealth creation. Apart
from just collecting all of the money today or in the present time, there are
different investors in the business companies that set the cash aside to be
used during the retirement time like after 20 or 30 years. All of this has one
approach and that is the investment of any business company, leader or the
employee will definitely grow over the period of time. Now coming towards the
impact of creativity, design and innovation on the wealth creation. These
strategies helps out different business companies to get different and
innovative ideas that how they should invest their money and get it doubled in
the future times. How different projects can be undertaken. So therefore yes I
do believe that design, creativity and innovation has a very huge and positive
impact towards the wealth creation.
Factors
that stimulate and inhibit the creativity and innovation
Stimulation
and inhibition both works parallel. There is not just one factor but twice or
thrice that helps out in stimulating the level of creativity and innovation in
the individuals so that they can work in an appropriate way. For instance,
motivation is the very first factor and motivation is that helps the people to
set goals in their lives and be particular and hardworking as well to achieve
them. When there is a level of motivation in the individuals then it becomes
really easy to make things work in a positive and successful way. Lack of
motivation in the employees is another reason that leads them towards the
failure and in result the whole organization fails. Effects goes on the
complete company. In the organizational behavior, it suggested that the employee
needs to be motivated for the best performance with their ability. When the
employees see the clear link among the effort they should be motivated and
reward what they receive. Whereas the reward must be seen along with the
equitable to inspire the works of employees. In this case, the motivation
accounts for the individual's intensity, persistence, the direction along with
efforts towards obtaining the goal. In the organizational behavior by the
combination of the different elements, the motivations are achieved which also
combine to produce satisfaction, and job designs. (Tharp, 2009)
While on the other hand, communication is not just a word here but it may act
as a barrier between the individuals working in the company. When there is no
communication thing between the different individuals or the leader then how
would they be able to share their ideas, how would they be able to be creative
and then innovative as well. All these things seems to be less important but in
actual this helps a lot. Communication with the employees is not being done at
all by the leaders whether on small scale or the large one. Lines need to be
opened between the leader and employees. A leader should bring out time so that
he or she can communicate with them in a better way. Small meetings should also
be arranged to know the difference before and after applying a change in the
organization. Every question should be answered properly by the leader to the
employees so that they don’t get to have any confusion in their mind. Things
will get easy for them to get implemented and become more creative after
sharing ideas with one another. (Cornelissen, 2008) According to a psychologist known by
the name of Maslow proposed a strategy by the name of Hierarchy of Needs, which
is also called as the Hierarchy of the human needs. This arise from most of the
basic needs like food, shelter and water and the group of all these things are
being called as the self-actualization by him. This is the kind of fulfilment
of all the personal potential by the process of growth. All of these needs are
being presented down in the typical form of a pyramid starting from the basic
needs towards the higher and even more of the sophisticated needs at the top of
a pyramid. (McLeod, 2007)

needs
Conclusion
of Explanation of a
relationship between creativity, design and innovation
Business
growth, sustainability and wealth creation all these factors are interlinked
with one another and as they are linked they all get to have a positive impact
by the implication of design, creativity and an innovation on the. They helps a
lot in generating something unique and different. I completely agree with the
term and statement that yes Creativity, Design and Innovation do have a
positive impact towards any business organization.
Maslow made out an
assumption that individuals need to satisfy their each level of need before
elevating all of their needs towards the next higher level. When all these
basic needs are being met then individual becomes more interested to achieve
the other parts. These all are the motivational things that keeps an individual
keep working and becoming even better for the future times and do something
productive as well. But on the other sides these are the factors that also acts
as an inhibition factor or the barrier for the individuals that don’t let them
bend the knees in front of anyone because they consider it their ego would be
effected by this. So they both work side by side.
