(SOL). Although, the university will need to get licences for legal concerns of

past, University introduced two types of Business School capstone units
including BUS30024 (Advanced Innovative Business practice) and BUS 300009 (Industry
Consulting Project). Among these capstone units, BUS 300009 (Industry
Consulting Project) was primarily focused on practical knowledge and advanced
skills learning in the relevant field of study. Considering the objective of an
increase in the professional experience of students, the university makes sure
to provide a realistic industrial work opportunity or research projects. While
on the other hand, BUS30024 (Advanced Innovative Business practice) as the
primary business capstone unit provides field specific knowledge to the
students. This capstone unit is designed to provide theoretical knowledge and
information to the students. Somehow, now client briefing explains that new
business capstone unit should be more innovative and effective than these old
business capstones as now the Swinburne University of Technology has to outpace
in the industrial sector as well as the competitive educational system in the
market of Australian and other countries where campuses are established for
distance and formal learning classes. Consequently, it can be said that the

skills are also effective and improved which make me confident to interact and

and meaning. My communication skills and competence to resolve complex

accordance with my assessment, I am an extrovert person with a keen interest in
learning new things and specifically multiple languages. I am expert in
different languages which enable me to communicate appropriately with the
clients of other regions with a different language from my home language. Reflecting
on disciple knowledge, I would assess myself as an outperforming student. I am
familiar with the core concepts and principles of my selected courses that not
only benefit me in securing a good position among my fellow students but also
help me to understand a field specific problem easily. Based on my knowledge
and learning skills I am sure that I can provide innovative and creative
solutions to clients for better business operations in the market.

Personal Learning Development Plan
Here the following table would represent my
personal learning development plan. In this PLDP, I have added different
columns displaying information about learning goals, challenges, and measures
of success. The learning goals will be easy to accomplish if challenges
associated with these goals are managed properly. Therefore, my primary
attention would be on the reducing of challenges and support of appropriate

The first learning goal is to promote time management
skills in the three month duration.

In my current selected educational program, very
limited details are provided regarding time management skills development.
Therefore I am facing a challenge in the development of this skill as a
learning goal of business studies course.

The learning goal achievement will be
considered as successful in case I become capable to manage my assignment
deadlines and other project specific timelines during this time.

The second learning goal is to learn the development of
financial statements (e.g. change in equity statement, balance sheet, income
statement and statement of cash flow) by using the international accounting
standards published by GAAP, IAS, and IFRS in this semester.

I would face several challenges regarding this learning
goal. First of all, I would not spare out my time from my busy schedule to
learn about these standards from researching on available research data at
internet sites and literature books. Currently, in my academic books very
limited information is given about international standard of accounting (IAS
and IFRS) by GAAP institute. Therefore, I would face challenges regarding the
limitation of time and available material to learn about international
accounting standards and the application of these standards in the financial
reports.

The
learning goal will be considered as achieved learning goal in case I meet the
basic requirement of learning international accounting standards for
financial statements. I would take a personal assessment to evaluate my
performance at least once in this selection duration and one at the end of
the selected time duration to ensure the actual status of learning regarding
this goal. Moreover, I would take an online test to measure my performance
regarding this realistic goal for my bright career and professional learning.

The third learning goal is to increase my skills in
accounting software.

Currently, accounting software is quite to use in the
organizations therefore, I am interested to learn accounting software for
better professional learning in the academic environment. However, the key
challenge regarding this learning goal is my poor skills in learning new
software and IT applications.

My
success for this learning goal will be measured based on my performance and
excellence in using accounting software (open access versions of software
such as Quickbook software and many other). I would consider it a successful
earning of goal if I would be able to work on software easily.
