Introduction
and context description
The technology in the 21st
century is becoming advance day by day. Many scientists and researchers are
bringing new technological equipment’s in the market for improving the standard
of living of the people and making the life of the people easy. There are many
problems which the latest technological advancements have resolved. The latest technologies
are revolutionizing the world and changing the ways of doing various things.
The technological advancement are occurring in almost every flied whether it is
manufacturing field, education flied or healthcare. The purpose of the
technology is to bring positive change and provide maximum convenience to the
individuals.
The technology has
revolutionized the healthcare sector up to lot of extent the past few years.
Many latest technologies are providing benefits to both health care
professionals and patients. In recent years humanoid robots are being used for
proving healthcare facilities to the patients. However the use of humanoid
robots in medical field is in its development phase. There is a need to perform
research to identify up to what extent humanoid robots can be used in the
medical field and what tasks these humanoid robots can perform much better in
the medical field.
In order to find the
usefulness and effectiveness of humanoid robots in the medical field the
research study will be performed. The study will be based in the country of
UAE. The research will provide information regarding how humanoid robots can be
used in the healthcare organizations of UAE and what benefits humanoid robots
will provide to both patients and healthcare professionals. The purpose of the
study is to provide details regarding the effectiveness of humanoid robots in
the medical sector of UAE (Lake, et al., 2015).
Evidence of
requirements of Use of Humanoid
Robots in Medical Field in UAE
There are different
things which are required for the effective implementation of the project and
for performing the detailed research regarding how humanoid robots can be
utilized in the UAE medical sector. UAE medical sector can be revolutionized
through technological advancements. It is clear that UAE has several barriers
to introduce robots in the medical field. Political powers and government both
are promoting advanced technologies in the country. They are particularly
focused on the medical field to implement technologies. Humanoid robots falls
in the category of advanced technology that have more chances to get support of
government in UAE countries. The recent coronavirus pandemic has become a major
issue for the world and in such situations technologies like humanoid robots
can play important role in the treatment of patients and providing safety to
both healthcare professionals and the patients.
Problem definition of Use of Humanoid Robots in Medical Field in UAE
In various healthcare
organization across the globe the humanoid robots are being tested for
providing medical care to the patients.
However there is a need to perform research regarding up to what extent
the healthcare sector can rely on the humanoid robots and what duties humanoid
robots can perform the best. The main problem in implementation of humanoid
robots in UAE and their effectiveness are:
·
There are not many researches regarding
the humanoid robot use in the medical sector of UAE.
·
There is a need to understand how humanoid
robot can work in the medical sector of UAE and what initiatives the medical
sector of UAE will have to take in order to implement the humanoid robots in
the healthcare organizations.
·
The cultural, political, economic and
social factors of UAE will have major impact on the implementation of humanoid
roots in the medical sector.
Therefore it is important
to understand how the people of UAE will accept this technological change. In
short word the research should be carried out to understand what things are
needed for the successful implementation of the humanoid robots in the medical
sectors. The research will not only focus on the requirements which are needed
to for the successful implementation but will also evaluate the benefits which
the project can provide to the individuals of UAE (Keathley, 2014).
Recently coronavirus
pandemic has become a major global issue. Coronavirus is highly contagious and
spread from human to human contact. In such situations humanoid robots can
provide treatment to the patients and the healthcare providers will not need to
make physical contact with the patients. It means that humanoid robot
technology can help in reducing the spread of disease to the healthcare
professionals.
Aims of Use of Humanoid Robots in Medical Field in UAE
The following are the key
aims of this research project:
·
To identify the requirements which are
necessary for successful implementation of the project in the country of UAE
·
To analyze the benefits which the humanoid
robots will provide to the healthcare professionals and patients of UAE.
·
To analyze the costs which are associated
with the implementation of this project in the medical sector of UAE
·
To analyze if humanoid robots can be used
in the medical sector of UAE and how the external environment factors of UAE
will affect the project.
Objectives of Use of Humanoid Robots in Medical Field in UAE
The objectives of the
research is to provide deep insights regarding the humanoid robot usage in the
medical sector. The research will provide the ways through which humanoid
robots can be used in the medical sector of UAE. The objective of the research
is to provide detail information about the benefits which the healthcare
organizations can get from successful implementation of the project and why
this project is important for the medical sector of UAE. The medical sector of
UAE can be further revolutionized by implementing the latest technological
advancements (Broadbent, et al., 2009).
As discussed earlier the
technology is becoming advance with the passage of time and it has become important
for the healthcare sector to focus and implement the latest technological
advancements otherwise the healthcare sector might unable to provide maximum
facility to the healthcare customers. The healthcare organizations need to
implement latest technologies so that they can compete with other healthcare
organizations. In short it has become important for the medical field to
implement latest technology for sustainability and growth. From the above
discussed facts the significance of this study can be easily understood. This
research will provide variety of information regarding the use of technology in
the healthcare organizations.

Research methodology of Use of Humanoid Robots in Medical Field in UAE
This research study will
follow the descriptive research approach. The reason for following descriptive
research approach is that it provides detail information regarding the research
problem and the research problem is analyzed critically through this approach.
Both primary and secondary data is going to be collected in this study. The
primary data will be gathered by using the survey approach. The data collection
tool which is going to be used in the study will be questionnaire. The
secondary data will be gathered from research articles that are already
published. The extensive literature review will provide detail information regarding
the work of other researchers and will help in identifying the research gap (Campbel, et al., 2011).
The simple random
sampling approach will be applied for taking the sample. The sample of 200
healthcare professionals will be taken from the healthcare organizations
present in the country of UAE. The data will be gathered from the respondents
to understand the benefits which the humanoid robots can provide to the
healthcare organizations. After gathering the primary and secondary data from
the data is going to be analyzed so that research findings can be made. The
analysis of the data is important to know the reliability and validity of the
data.
