Dementia, Alzheimer disease. This is also used in different countries for the
prevention of gout, gallstone, type 2 diabetes and even some kinds of the
cancer as well. (Feldman, 2017)
Rectally
this coffee is being used as the enema for the treatment of cancer. Coffee
enemas are also used as the part of the “Gerson Therapy”. In this Gerson
Therapy, patients those who have cancer are being treated by the help of
caffeinated coffee in the form of enemas after every four hours and this

Uses
and Effectiveness of coffee in medicinal way in detail
Likely effective for the,
1. Mental alertness of a person:
Drinking coffee or any other beverage that contains some portion of caffeine in
it in the whole day is pretty much effective in keeping a person alert and it
also helps in the clear thinking of a person as well. Caffeine also helps in
the improvement of the alertness after the sleep deprivation. One won’t believe
that even one drink of coffee easily cut down the fatigue level and helps in
increasing the alertness in a person.
Possibly effective for Value of Coffee,
Possibly
this caffeine is really effective for number of different factors like,
Impaired
movement of the food by intestine after any kind of surgery: Having coffee may
shorten the time scale until the movement of first bowl after removing the part
of colon or even after having surgery for any of gynecological caners as well.
1. Diabetes:
Diabetes seems to be very less in those people who drink more coffee as
compared to the others who don’t. Risk for the diabetes type 2 reduces in them.
Greater intake of the coffee means lower risk in the people for getting
diabetes type 2.
2. Diseases affiliated with Gallbladder:
There are number of people who drink different beverages that include caffeine
along with coffee as well, all of them provide minimum 400 mg of the caffeine
on every day basis and they also have very few chances of getting the
gallstones in them. (Mees, 2018)
3. High level of cholesterol:
Having cups of coffee helps in reducing the cholesterol level in people as well
like LDL or the “bad cholesterol” along with the blood fats as well that are
called as triglycerides through a very small amount. Here I want to add that
intake of almost 6-8 coffee cups a day on daily basis are of great benefit.
Having coffee that is decaffeinated don’t have the same kind of effects at all.
4. Low level of blood pressure:
Having the caffeinated drinks in which coffee is also a part of it seems to
increase the level of blood pressure in aged people and they also experience
dizziness after having certain meals because of the low blood pressure.
5. Death because of any reason:
People who love drinking coffee on daily basis seems to have much lower risk of
getting died because of any kind of cause like heart disease or any in
comparison to the others who don’t prefer drinking coffee.
6. Parkinson disease:
Parkinson disease is not new at all and there are huge ratio of people who
already suffer from this disease. There comes an evidence that people who drink
coffee or any of the caffeinated drink have very few chances of getting this
Parkinson disease. There is another fact here that people who smoke cigarettes
don’t seems to have any effect of drinking coffee on the Parkinson disease. (Uppal, 2019)
Insufficient evidence for the following
certain diseases,
1. Atherosclerosis, disease in which
hardening of the arteries happen: Buildup of the calcium
–containing plaque in arteries is considered to be one of the early sign of
getting this disease. But drinking coffee here doesn’t have any association
with the lower buildup of a calcium containing plaque in all those arteries.
2. Bladder Cancer:
There are some of the evidences which have suggested that number of people who
drink more amount of coffee have a very few chances for the development of
bladder cancer. But here another study has also showed that people who drink
coffee or caffeine drinks have way more chances of getting this bladder cancer
as compared to those who don’t.
3. Breast Cancer:
Females who have high intake of coffee in their diet have very few chances of
getting this breast cancer.
4. Cognitive function, memory and the
thinking cells: There is a great interesting fact about
the older women who are above 80 years in age. Drinking coffee for the lifetime
helps in the improvement of their thinking cells. (Souard, 2018)
5. Rectal and the Colon cancer:
There is an evidence that some of the Japanese people who have high intake of
coffee have very few risk or chances for the development of this rectal and
colon cancer in them.
6. Endometrial cancer:
Effect of coffee on the endometrial cancer is still unclear. Some of the
researches have shown that women who have high intake of coffee have low risk
of getting this cancer but on the other side there are many studies or
researches that has not shown this link clearly. So nothing is clear or sure
till now.
7. Gout: There
has been an evidence that there are very few chances of getting Gout in a
person who drink caffeinated or decaffeinated drink but on the other side it is
also clear that people who drink caffeinated drink are safer from this disease.
(Miranti, 2018)
8. Lung Cancer:
Researchers are also not clear for this disease as well, some of them says that
drinking coffee helps in the prevention of lung cancer but on the other side
this has also been shown that drinking coffee has no effect on this disease. So
things are not clear yet.
9. Skin cancer (Melanoma):
different factors like aging or exposure towards the sun increases and they are
being taken in an account, having coffee may decrease their risk.
10. Obesity:
Obesity is one of the biggest issue and problem that is found in almost every
age group and because of this there are many diseases as well that are
affiliated. Effect of the coffee on losing weight in the people who are
overweight or obese is still unclear. Results from different studies are still
conflicting. Some of the researches have shown that taking some of the coffee
chemicals like mannooligosaccharides for almost 12 weeks may help in losing
weight in men but not in women. Other studies shows that having dark roasted
coffee seems to help in the reduction of food intake and which further helps in
the weight loss but on the other side, light roast coffee doesn’t at all. And
one other research has also shown that drinking coffee no matter with or
without the caffeine doesn’t help at all with the loss in weight. (Vinson, 2019)
11. Prostate cancer:
In general account, people who drink coffee have very few chances of getting
this disease of prostate cancer. But on the other side drinking more coffee has
also been associated with the lower risk of localized prostate cancer, this is
a cancer that don’t spread outside the prostate.
Economically valuable plant
Coffee
is known to be one of the most significant factor for the International Trade
and it is being known from last 185 years. This coffee is one of the most
leading agriculture products in the International trade along with corn, wheat
and soybeans. Total world of this exportable production of this coffee is
increasing with every passing year. Everyone demands to have a cup of coffee in
their hand because it has number of positive effects on the human body as
compared to any other drink in the market.
This
coffee is so much valuable economically that one can’t even imagine about it
and all because of the small steps that are included in it from the planting
till the packaging. These coffee packs are further then exported to different
areas and countries according to their need or demand.
Let’s
have a small outlook that how this coffee gets packaged and gets used at
different areas on such a large scale. Small simple 10 steps from seed to the
cup. (Hirons, 2018)
Very
first step is the planting step. They are being planted in large areas under
shaded nurseries. Water is their continuous supply. Their planting is therefore
mostly being done in the wet season when the rain becomes their continuous
source of help. Because of enough water supply, their soil remains moist and
roots become established in a firmly way.
Next
step is the Harvesting of cherries, depending upon the variety this will take
almost 3-4 years for the new plant of coffee to bear this kind of fruit.
Harvesting is being done typically once in a year. There are different ways to
pick these cherries.
Next
step is their processing and it is being done by two methods. First one is the
dry method, this one is being used where water supply is not enough. Cherries
are just spread on hot surfaced areas. Second one is the wet method, in this
process pulp gets removed from cherry. Cherries are being passed through the
pulping machine for better processing and removal of skin.
Next
step is drying up the beans. This process is being done after the wet method
only, not from the dry method. The beans that get dried are called as the
Parchment beans and they are then warehoused in jute or the sisal bags until or
unless they get ready to be exported.
Next
step is milling of the beans, in this process hulling, polishing, grading and sorting
is being done carefully.
Exporting
of the beans is the next step. In this step milled beans are now called as the
green beans and then further gets loaded into ships.
Seventh
step is the tasting process and the coffee is then gets tasted by number of
different people to make sure taste is accurate and perfect before it gets
exported.
Eight
step includes the roasting process. Beans get roasted in different machines and
then they remain at temperature of 550 Fahrenheit. After roasting, beans get
cooled down immediately by air or even with the water.
Next
step is the grinding process in which beans get grinded and comes in small
granule form.
Last
step includes the brewing of coffee and one can enjoy it however they want to.
Worth
of coffee industry back in 2019 was much high. Production rate was so much and
on the other ways it helped out the market a lot in keeping up with the
forecasted position. Global coffee market in 2019 expectedly was 102, 2792.2
million by kept on growing at CAGR of 4.32 during the forecast period of
2018-2023. (Belachew, 2016)
Coffee
industry is pretty much profitable. Top 50 different coffee chains actually
earn almost 70 percent of the profit in an industry. Gross margin for the
different cafeterias run almost at the scale of 85 percent but small coffee
shops also have some amount of the income for almost 2.5 percent of the gross
sales in general.
So
it has been concluded that there is a high economical value of coffee and it
helps a lot in making the market getting expanded or getting the profit at high
scale.
