Essay on Animation

Animation is basically a method by which pictures appear as moving object but only in the computer. By animation techniques, any object is brought to life but only in the graphics of computer. It is by this method that the most inanimate objects are brought to life. There are two different categories of animation namely, the one that is computer-assisted and the other that is computer-generated. The way of presenting animation is either through a video or a film. To play back the images that are recorded at a speed fast enough to fool the human eye into thinking that they are moving in a continuous motion is the basic idea behind animation. A series of dead images can be made alive by animating.  There are many areas where the use of animation can be made, like computer, entertainment, aided-design, scientific visualization, education, training, computer-art and e-commerce. A variety of animation techniques have been developed by animators. We are naming a few of them,

1.      Traditional Animation that is frame by frame.

2.      The second one is the key framing

3.      Next is the procedural framing

4.      Then there is behavioral animation

5.      Then comes, performance based animation named as Motion Capture

6.      Then is the Physically based animation, named as Dynamics.

Cartoony Animation

So, Cartoony animation is a type of animation, that is related to cartoons and it gives an individual a great way to expand the creative horizons. It opens new avenues for self-expression. It also has a different visual vocabulary, and there are tools to get competent in this type of animation. It will make improvements in the ability to pose, plan, experiment and learn. For the cartoony animation, strong drawing skills are not as much important, anyone can do cartoony animation as an experience of bringing their creations to life.

The way to go is to begin with hand-drawn master studies of great animation, and that is where the teaching of cartoony tricks starts, and these tricks are best learned by drawing. In cartoony animations the Cartoon Network was one of the early animations, that gave classics like, Powerpuff girls, Dexter’s Laboratory, etc. in those days creating a cartoony animation was a difficult task, but now it is not like that. In those days fine skills, detailing and a lot of money was required to make such animations but now this can be done in just a few simple steps; first of all you have to choose the best animation maker, then choose any template for your videos, next would be the selection of a graphical style, then you would need a music or track or a voice over to fulfill the audio needs of the video, and there you go your own animated cartoony video is ready.

Naturalistic animation

So naturalistic animation is about creating characters that are believable and that move and behave like humans, and creating an animated character that is believable is also a difficult task. Humans have always been fascinated by art and motion. The drawings on caves, that used to be a thing of olden times shows us that even those primitive humans were interested in drawing something illusionary. Animation that is used nowadays is the most advanced form, to make naturally moving characters like humans seem an easy task but a little study is to be done on that topic too. To make a character move like humans one has to study the movements of human, references from everyday life are taken to use them in animation. That is how naturalistic animation works.
