The Human resource management department review the CVs and then filter out the and select the CV that is according to the criteria of Super retail group. Those CVs or candidates are preferable who has some working experience or have the appropriate education. The preferable candidates are called and encouraged to come in office for interview where the managers conduct interview. After screening process the employees are tested. After getting some experience, another interview is also conducted. If the management will impress with the performance of the employee during the selection process, he will be encouraged to work with company (Humphreys, Wong, & Chan, 2003). After accepting the offer, the employment contract or employment agreement will be signed then then the evaluation will be started. 8.      Designing a MCS for [Super Retail Group]
8.1   Introduction

The aim of the present work is to conduct qualitative research in terms of management and control system of knowledge and real-world understandings of the super retail group of Australia. In this work, there are two integrated parts of the research project including a critical examination of operational activities and strategies of the super retail group and to design the practical and effective MCS for a super retail group of Australia. Supper retail group have more than 670 stores that generate $2.5 million by having operations in Australia, New Zealand and China. The retail portfolio includes Macpac, BCF boating camping and fishing, rebel and super cheap auto. The development of stores is based on online digital presence and the physical stores that provide footprints to enable the customers to shop and customers prefer Super Retail group over others. Super retail group offer opportunities and use sources and supply chain capabilities to purchase products that are required. The super retail group have a clear vision about the future and work based on the solid strategic roadmap with more than 12, 000 members. The present report consists of all the necessary information and evidence of growth for the super retail group in Australia.

8.2   Results Controls

The data of super retail group we have collected, the super retail group uses these controls. There are several management controls provided in this document which are shown in the diagram below. The results controls are the very important part of this document which is providing the beneficial information related to the performance of the employees.

8.3   Action Controls

Management of super retail group has also made the whistle-blower policy for controlling those actions as well as the main focus is to make an effective code of conduct. According to this policy, super retail group will provide protection to the employee and support to whistle-blowers.

8.4   Personnel Controls

9.      Summary of qualitative research in terms of management and control system of knowledge and real-world understandings of the super retail group of Australia

In the summary of case study, the selected company is the Super Retail Group which has more than 670 stores across Australia, New Zealand as well as China. The study is providing brief information of the company how it is the providing its services, who are the stakeholders of the company, what external factors can affect the profitability of the company as well some action controls are also discussed in this study. It was important to understand how the company is doing with its management and control system of knowledge, as well as, real-world understanding of their retail business. To keep things in context, the vision and mission of the company were also analysed to get its core values which the company uses to conduct its business activities. It was found that core values followed by the company are its passion, openness, care, integrity, as well as discipline. After analysing the corporate governance structure of the company, it was concluded that the company is consisting of several executives and non-executive corporate managers. These managers have different work responsibilities in the organization.

            It is also important to mention here that all employees, as well as, the managerial staff of the company are strictly controlled by the corporate managerial strategies adopted after a lot of planning and thought processes. The company is having a variety of famous brands, which are giving them a competitive advantage. After analysing all the elements associated with the products and services, it can be concluded that products and services currently offered by the company have a good reputation in the market. The company is also enjoying good terms with all the stakeholders, keeping things in the right direction. The management controls used by the company have been proving effective. The same is the case with its action control, as well as, cultural controls. If the company continues to have these controls in this manner, then it can be said that they will have a better MCS design to get things going to achieve its strategic goals and objectives. There are no major issues identified for Super Retail Group, and if they make little changes with their strategy, then they can have more success in the future.
