How much we spend each year

The analysis of the freight data has shown that the company is spending $82913579.48 on freight each year. The maximum freight which the company has paid is 25955.5 whereas the lowest amount of freight paid by the company is 101. The average amount of freight for all modes of transportation is 1928.17. 

Where we spend our money

Most of the money spend is on the payment of freight. In the above graph, the top freight payments made by the organization are presented. From the graph, it is clear that the highest payment made for freight is 25955 (Chandra, 2011).

Who are our top carriers?

The HMES is the top carrier of the organization. Most of the shipment of the organization has done through this carrier. In the above graph, it is clear that most of the shipment of the organization has done through HMES. The other top carriers of the organization can be seen from the bar chart presented above (Pandey, 2015).

Where we ship most of our freight

Most of the shipment is made in the state of Ohio (OH). The second state where the most shipment is made is the state of Indiana. In the above bar chart the top destinations where most of the shipment of the organization are done are presented in detail (JANI, 2014).

What modes we use

There are three 4 modes of shipment which are presented above. Along with the mode of shipment, their average weight can also be seen from the graph above. Shipment mode 6 has the highest average weight than other modes of shipment (Warren, Reeve, & Duchac, 2016).

Recommendation of Blue Star Transportation

It is recommended to the organization to enhance its billing accuracy so that the cost of the organization can be reduced. Due to billing inaccuracies, the organizations' costs have increased up to a lot of extents. Therefore billing inaccuracies should be mitigated (Spender, 2014).
