They

different ways which are socially, economically as well as environmentally
viable in today’s world along with the future time period as well. This was
just a small shop in London and from there it became such a large chain.
As

Different Challenges
of Shell
Oman Oil Company
Like
every company, same is the case here with Shell Oman Oil Company. They also
have number of different challenges which causes an impact on the organization
along with the employees working in the organization as well.
1.
Resource challenge of
Shell Oman Oil Company:
When
it comes towards the energy along with the other vital services as well there
are number of different forces that are shaping the future of this Shell oil
company. There are number of different people who are successfully climbing out
of the poverty for the very first time in history. They all are buying cars and
living and enjoying the life of standard about which their parents could only
dream about. At the same instance, society need to address out the following
stress issues for the growing population on our planet earth. This includes the
threat of global warming. To avoid this government needs to take an action and
find ways to reduce the emission of this carbon dioxide. This company is facing
different challenges related to the emission of this gas that destroys the
nature along with the health of people as well in a great way. Age for the easy
to access oil along with the gas is completely over. This shell Oman Oil
Company is facing technical as well as the environmental challenges in the
development of new resources of oil as well as the gas. Not only this but these
challenges are increasing drastically. Much of the undeveloped energy resources
are available in different areas like frozen arctic along with the deep oceans
and all of the remaining oil and gas increasingly contains number of different
impurities that makes difficult to extract oil and process them as well. So
this is another big challenge for this company as because of the presence of
impurities it has become really hard to extract the oil which they want or
require. This is the first challenge, there are number of different challenges
which are also being faced by the employees while extraction of oil through
such areas and one can imagine how difficult process it would be and what kind
of the certain challenges every employee has to go through while doing this
extraction process. (Searle, 2019)
2.
Training challenge of
Shell Oman Oil Company:
Selection
of the employees is one of the biggest challenge and along with this another
challenge which this company is facing from few last years is the proper source
of training their employees. The impact of not giving proper training to the employees
not only makes them less in confidence among others but it also makes them less
motivated as well. On the other side, there are many companies who are using
the proper source for training their employees and it results in a very
positive environment. So one of the biggest challenge which I believe is not
giving proper training to the employees working in this shell company and due
to which employees are not working that enthusiastically as they need to or
they should. (Jia, 2016)
Organizational
structure/design of Shell Oman Oil Company
At
the start or beginning of 2000, this shell group of companies was emerging out
from one of the most ambitious as well as far reaching organizational
restructurings of almost 93 years in a history. This rearrangement had included
all of the shift from the geographically based towards the primarily based
business sector structure. Almost 1000 different cooperation were eliminated.
With the passage of time it got clearly understood to them that changes are
making a positive impact. This is one of the largest organizational company
having almost 90,000 of the total employees and it is being operated in more
than almost 80 different countries worldwide. This Shell Oman Oil Company is
highly formalization as well as it is highly centralization as well. Being the
technology leader, shell is known to be one of the biggest distributor in the
whole world. They help in providing the innovative way to bring out the more
efficient of the energy for the number of different customers. This Company
also helps in the development of vital technology. This biggest oil Company is
generating a profitable growth. It also aims to deliver the number of different
benefits by the making of more efficient energy products through reducing the
impact of their operations. It also helps in improving the way of design along
with building and running of their different operations as well.
They
have the design and built the structure in a way that causes no major harmful
impact on the environment overall. This shell oil company attracts as well as
deliver the profitability in an environmentally along with the socially
responsible ways. They work very closely towards their partners as well as
customers. To advance out the more efficient as well as the sustainable use of
energy along with the use of natural resources. (Warrlich, 2018)
Centralization of
Shell Oman Oil Company
Their
decision making is concentrated at a single point and that is mostly at the top
of management.
This
is highly centralized because the shell is applying formal structure that is
only concerned by the centralization.
Top
management of the shell that is being used by the formal authority to make
discretionary choices for permitting the employees for the minimum input for
their work.
Shell
Oman Oil Company is using mechanistic structures in their whole organization.
This shell oil company has a very stable
environment that is being combined with the low level of complexity that
further leads towards the low uncertainty.
Impact of
Organizational culture
Every
area has their own set of culture same is the case with shell Oman Oil Company,
there were many hurdles that come in the path. Here for the shell oil company,
the organizational culture has served as the catalyst for the help and guiding
the behavior for the company along with the employees working in this
organization towards one another. Culture is basically defined as the basic set
of understandings that are being shared by the number of different members of a
complete organization that further influence on the decision making and then
further this is being passed to the new coming members of the organization. So
in the same way, organizational culture has worked for the Shell Oman Oil
Company. (Ali Taha, 2016)
Recommendations
of Shell
Oman Oil Company
In
the end I would like to give some recommendations for some of the challenges
that I studied about this oil company. Very first recommendation is that
instead of using people for the extraction of oil and gas from the areas they
should have proper machinery which can do the process of human beings because
in this process human health is being effected greatly and this is the duty of
the oil company that they should take care of their employees in all the
possible ways. Another recommendation which I would like to give here is that
there should be proper schedule for training the employees in all possible ways
because if there are not trained employees ultimately it will cause an effect
on the whole organization and this effect will be negative. (Gaghman, 2020)
Conclusion
of Shell
Oman Oil Company
Shell
Oman Oil Company is one of the biggest organization that is running
successfully across the whole world. This company is giving number of different
benefits to their customers and they are much satisfied through their services.
They are motivated to achieve their goals and they are doing it greatly.
Operations of this company are mechanistic in their nature, this shell oil
company differentiates itself into number of different departments to meet all
of the environment elements as shell is the company that is operating more than
80 different countries. Here I also want to add that there no company is born
famous, they have to make number of different efforts to achieve their
particular goals and even after it they still have to keep doing hard work to
maintain their level. This company has also faced number of different
challenges and still facing but things become really better with the passage of
time.
