Since my childhood, it has been my passion to
become a nurse as I used to watch my mother work as a nurse and that passion
grew in me. She was literally a live example right in-front of me building good
relationships with her patients and she used to do everything that she could to
make them feel comfortable. Such gestures made me chose nursing as a career
because I was always up for challenging but rewarding work and knowing that
nursing provides stable work opportunities informed my decision. I really am
into experiencing growth and want to experience that in my career as well and I
am sure, nursing will allow me to proceed and specialize while being able to
provide best possible care to my patients.
Despite being graduated in high school with pre-med
courses, I want to be a registered nurse rather than opting any other
healthcare profession because I feel there are many broadened advancements that
one co do being a registered nurse. A registered nurse or an RN can choose to
work with children or grown up people in critical conditions. This provides a
range of possibilities and I also really like the general responsibilities of
nurses than other heath care workers. A registered nurse gets to learn about
all the parts of human body and the medical field is a lot contingent with nursing
profession than just doctors.
All in all, the main reasons of me becoming a
registered nurse includes this field to be an exciting and fast-paced
profession, it will give me the opportunity to positively impact the patients
as well as the community, the profession offers one of its kind flexibility and
it will give me an opportunity to experience the benefits of a holistic
approach to the field of medicine. And finally, by caring for people in their
time of need will give me a gratifying feeling and will make me serve humanity
so becoming a nurse will be living my dream life.
