Discussion on Causes of Students’ Failure in Exams

Exams are the most important as well as the tensest phase of life. Students mostly hate exams and the reason is they do not pay proper attention to the studies and at the end of the year when it is time of their exam they do not know how they are going to pass in these exams. Several reasons are there that causes students to fail in the examination and one of them is the lack of seriousness in the studies throughout the academic year. Several activities they use to participate at but do not pay proper attention to their studies and this causes the failure of the exam at the end of the academic year. 

Excess of playing video games during study timings at home, do not pay attention to extra classes, do not attend regular classes, lack of complete notes, inefficient group studies, less clearance of concepts in all the subjects, fewer grades in assignments accomplishments, missing of quizzes and many other things are the main causes of failure of students. While exams are near some students try to cover all these aspects but as it is impossible to cover so they cannot be able to pass the exam and suffer failure. Lack of self-study, lack of research related to studies to solve quizzes and not to conducting extra study classes and extra material makes their mind congested, they cannot be able to think out of the box and yet they do not get success in exams (Samphina.com.ng, 2020).
