technology world:
The technology
world is growing so fast. It is changing every minute and is continuously
setting new boundaries. These changes will overcome soon before the company
make up with new innovations in the market. In short, we are putting so much
effort so much to meet demands of global market in our core base. In this paper
we are going to discuss about the new computer systems that will help in
catching up with new technologies and will increase our abilities in near
future. The main systems to be reviewed are Information system related solution
that will may include Decision Support System (DSS), Cloud computing, Enterprise
Data Warehouse (EDW), Data Management System (DMS), Supply Chain Management
(SCM). There are many reasons that why we including these systems. These
systems will benefit the company in many ways that are going to be elaborated
here. There is also some research data that will explain the improvements.
Decision support
system of
the technology world:
When things are
changing so frequently, it become very difficult to take any good decision.
There are a lot of managers who get confuse while getting started in taking any
decision. It’s all because of information technology which made this easier for
managers to take any decision. In order to make good valuable decision,
decision support system (DSS) is kind of a software which give privilege to
senior managers by providing them with data of lower levels and then change it
into useful information for the purpose of decision making. It can help manager
in making structured of unstructured decisions. Structured decisions do not
require a large amount of power implementation, it helps with the routine. On
the other hand, the unstructured decision is a decision that will depend on
human knowledge. DSS greatly assist with this. This happen to be in use less
frequently than structured decisions, but when done greatly and accurately, it
helps a lot in company management. In order to make best decision for a particular
situation, DSS give the data to ensure that the manager is going right with
unstructured decision-making process. DSS can make the manager unique models
for creation of some experiment that can assist it in future development. In
order to analyze the future decision making, a report that is usually called as
“what if” report is created through DSS. Another beneficial aspect is in goal
seeking. When manager has some perspective about some specific go and he need
to know that how to achieve that, DSS can help in making strategy report which
can aid in making decision accurately.
Cloud Computing

technology world
This literature
involves the change brough by cloud computing on information systems services
and the changes of performance of their employees who work on enterprise
database development projects. The field of information system is implementing
a paradigm change, with cloud computing developing a major change in business
structures and methodologies which not only include the enterprise who are the
users of information systems but also for the retailers and service providers
of information system. It is referred that the upcoming cloud infrastructure
are replacing the ongoing information system process of development which is
going to make major changes to the paradigms of system development service
providers. The impacts of cloud computing over information systems are
pervasive and highly appreciated. The impacts have dynamic scalability and
increase in the usage of virtualized resources which can be easily accessed as
service with the help of internet. The direction change in favor of the cloud
is expected to bring positive impacts on organization operational management
and mostly in environment who are facing shortage of budgets. The cloud is
expected to mitigate the constraints which organizations face when initiating
big investments in their information division which involves computers and
network devices that need increased in asset budget and a large amount of
expenditure of capital. It is
largely recognized that the information systems are elaborated as providing
space to technology to calculate business problems and provide adequate
solutions. For managing information system service contractors, a noticeable
portion of this process involves database system development consignments. The
presence of cloud computing has significantly infiltrated the delivery of
service paradigms for these service providers. Projects which were quite well
established with these processes are taking an alternate with the outcome the
contractors must change the allocation of their resources., structures and

relevant to the industry

Management System (DBMS): In information system, the organized collection of the
data needs to get managed according to need. In this regard, DBMS can help in

managed and stored. DBMS provide maintenance to the data files there. Effective
data management is achieved by applying DBMS. It plays vital role in both
creation and management of the data. In order to run and manage the data effectively,
DBMS is needed. It serves as intermediary between user and data. It gives advantage
by proving the end user with single complete view of the data. And also
translate those applications which are in complex relation. A lot of internal complexity
of data is not shown up to the user and to the program. With access to DBMS,
user can go to main data, can update it and can delete it if required in
information system. When the information system of the company is collaborated
with DBMS, it become easy for user to get available data access.
Allowing different
data sets to collaborate with one anther will give advantage to the information
system f the company. So, DBMS will become ideal in managing relations of data
sets in a very easy simple way. This will ultimately help the manager to
understand the key statistics that are related to sales or business operations.
The data security
will get in risk if more people are able to reach it. A lot of companies invest
a lot of time and money to make sure that data is in proper use. But the
outcomes are not always what the manager want it to be. DBMS ensure better
security and privacy policies and allow them to make improvements in overall
security of the data.
Enterprise Data
Warehouse (EDW): The
enterprise data warehouse (EDW) is a kind of corporate repository that manage
and save all the previous business data of an enterprise. There should be single
storage facility that will prepare data for further analysis and also store it.
The information usually come from many different systems like physical
recording, CRMs etc.
It can be elaborated
that enterprise data warehouse is a unified repository for almost all the
present and past business data that ever happened in that organization. EDW
store its data basically from the original sources like CRMs, loT devices or
google analytics etc. Because if the data get scattered around different system
it will be impossible to manage it, so EDW is basically providing a unified
repository for multiple data along with their sources so that it will become
easy to handle them. There is always the process of generating new data inside
and even outside the company, so a committed infrastructure is needed for
smooth flown of the data to manage it before its entry into warehouse.
The data that get
to store in EDW is always structured and standardized. So, the end user gets
the privilege to use it easily and to make reports accordingly. And this is
what makes the EDW different from data lake. Data lake actually store unstructured
data for the use of analytical purposes but here data lakes is used by
engineers to work with large sets of raw data.
To have a concept
or to understand what data relates to what, it always goes around the
particular subject that is called as data model. Because the business data is
related to different domains is present in warehouse. An example of a subject
may include sale area or total average sale of some item.
Supply Chain
Management (SCM): In
traditional functions of the business, the systematic and strategical
coordination and implementation of these strategies within certain company
business and with in the organization is referred as Supply Chain Management
(SCM). Its main focus is improvement in functions of the management for long
term organizations. The supply chain management information system is playing
its vital role along with change in technology world. It helps in increasing
the responsiveness in chain supply or to reduce the expenses in the
organization. Avery crucial example here is Emerson. This is an international
manufacturing organization of China. With the help of supply chain management
information system, this organization has become successful.
Conclusion
of the
technology world:
In the current
business environment, companies need to embrace the technology revolutions in
order to avoid the loss of advantage over competitors. Decision support system
help by proving the managers lower level of information and converting them
into some useful information that can help in decision making. Cloud computing
help in managing the data through internet. The demands are increasing on
improvement in computing that is immediately switching the information
technology. Database management system collect all the complex data and
organize it. Enterprise data warehouse organize the data of warehouse and help
the end user to utilize it easily. All this software is included in IS related
solutions where we come to know that changing world of technology also require
the company to change their methods of operating.
