Free float is
the amount of time in which the project can be delayed from the early start
date without having any issue in the final time of the project. in the present
project, different possible activities can be delayed without having an impact
on the successor activity (Kourdi, 2015). The critical path analysis provides the
longest sequence for the activities in the project to be delayed and completed
in the timeframe. In the project different non-critical tasks are considered

Justification for a European
government offer
Considering the
present situation, the European government is offering a new environmental
control system for the buildings and it will be delivered in the coming days of
23rd august 2021. The process can cut activity time to the shortest
possible time (Campbel, et al., 2011) This condition is
worthy for the company and the justification for the selection of the
conditions are listed below,
1.
The program will deliver services that will help
reduce process cost and time.
2.
The operation time is only 12 weeks that is
relatively short when working with other processes.
3.
Failure in taking decisions can cause a penalty
of 4 million euros.
4.
The program will increase profit as it provides a
reliable control system.
5.
The program will help develop public relations
for Ecotech.
Part 2 Budget calculations of Project management analysis of ecotech company
a)
In the budget calculation, several options can
be considered by the Ecotech board that can assist in tackling the project. The
present budget calculations are based on size project management professionals
and team members. The total cost per week is estimated at 48, 000 euros (Chandra, 2011). The cost for the
technical team members is supposed to be 50, 000 euros per week. The total cost
for design and material is illustrated in table 2. There are two possible
conditions when considering agency supplied staff from CC build resources (Pandey, 2015).
1.
In this condition, every person is required
to complete four tasks and they will be hired separately. The budget is
considered if new members for site testing are not hired. This will cut the
cost of site testing employees in completing the budget. The cost of each
person was first measured in sterling and then converted to euro for complete
estimation. The current rate for the conversion is as 1 sterling = 1.14 euro.
From thousands to millions it is converted and then the budget is estimated. To
add new workers in the construction the rate of each worker is different (Warren, et al., 2016). The rate of
foremen, technicians, and laborers in sterling are 200, 120 and 80
respectively. The construction manpower is mentioned in the table below.

Budget for adding hiring new
manpower
Adding new
manpower will increase the cost beyond the previously defined budget. Before
adding new manpower, the estimated total budget of Ecotech as approximately 33
million euros but after adding new manpower it will reach as double that is
approximately 64.9 euros for the whole project (Simons, 2011).

2.
Considering the above table of budget and
fixed cost by task another option is to select previously existing people to
work on-site testing without hiring new people. In this situation, new hiring
will be done only for unit A construction, Unit B, Construction, and Unit C
construction with the cost of individual foremen, technicians, and laborers in
sterling as 200, 120 and 80 respectively. Before adding new manpower, the
estimated total budget of Ecotech as approximately 33 million euros but after
adding new manpower with previous site testing conditions it will reach
approximately 59 million euros for the whole project (Spender, 2014).
Advantages and disadvantages of
each approach of Project
management analysis of ecotech company
Approach
|
Advantages and disadvantages
|
1
|
Considering the purely freelance agency staffing
will reduce the cost of the project. it will cut the monthly salary of
workers. the company will pay only in case the workers are working and it
will pay as daily wages.
|
2
|
Implementing this creative recruiting strategy will
help in finding experienced new roles that will make the process faster and fewer
efforts are required.
|
3
|
We don’t need a high-quality lead for the monthly
working conditions. Besides that company is not required to accommodate that
candidate.
|
4
|
The potential cost will decrease with increasing
benefits and it will figure out the full picture of the reduced cost of the project.
|
5
|
The number of freelancers will jump at the
opportunity and we will be provided with a great startup.
|
6
|
Freelancers can navigate a fast-changing system
with simple instruction. They will work as an automatic team.
|
7
|
They will strengthen the company with content
marketing also.
|
8
|
They will work with new creative techniques.
|
9
|
They will not require office space to work in.
|
10
|
They will have not access to the work structure of the
company.

According to the recent changes in the
project, the timing and the costs of the project have changed. These changes
