We are hearing it quite often that the world is different place now and its true beyond many levels as we can’t see the world like ever before nor we can live in this world like we used to live before. The on-going situation has embarked some heavily affecting changes that one cannot deny for having to live permanently with. We cannot go for our random meet-ups with friends, or shopping for leisure or to watch movies at the cinemas. These might sound temporary and not that of a big issue but for those who have socialites, it has become really difficult to stay at home all the time without having to experience the outer-world closely. These are some ordinary social practices that we cannot experience anymore but these might last temporarily. There are some factors that we believe might last more than temporary or forever like shaking-hands to whoever we meet outside our homes just as a greeting gesture. We never thought of this sweet gesture to become a dangerous practice one day as it’s considered to be the most effective carrier of germs and you’re most likely to slide germs of deadly viruses onto your hands by just simply shaking hand with someone out whom you might never know where he/she has touched before. Shaking hands has been a ritual and a social norm which now feels like becoming distinct because of people being reluctant to it for their own safety which is their right.

Then there’s one major business practice that we all witnessing all around the globe i.e, working remotely. The pandemic has made flexible work arrangements for all sorts of businesses and this practice is widespread without any discrimination of the genre of work. But apart from this practice being flexible for a reason, it is more extensive as compared to an office-based job. Businesses are requiring their employees for longer hours than usual and all sorts of businesses have to use this practice of working from home as the aim is to avoid interacting people and staying away from people and mainly to avoid gatherings of people for whatever the reason. Critical advantages of being physically present such as team spirits and building relationships have now been lost. Remote work is not just a requirement but an un-ignorable necessity where both the employers and employees are required to show their full efficiencies while creating space for their online spaces
