Research Methodology of Plagiarism Awareness amongst high school students in Qatar

Introduction of Plagiarism Awareness amongst high school students in Qatar

In this chapter of the research study, we will discuss the method of data collection and analysis configuration used to design the responses to the research questions. It additionally tries to determine the statistic and financial attributes of the respondents. Descriptive and quantitative observational strategies for estimation are utilized for the statistical analysis. As indicated by Brannick, Roche (1997), inquire about the procedure is an essential leadership process; every choice made is influenced by, and thus, impacts each other option. Options are interrelated. (Roche, (1996) it clarified likewise that the exploration procedure gives a methodical, arranged way to deal with an examination venture and guarantees all parts of the task are steady with one other. (Teresa Brannick, 1997).

Research Design of Plagiarism Awareness amongst high school students in Qatar

This research study is conducted by following few points’ for research design in which includes. Research Philosophy, Research Approach, Research Strategy, Selecting Respondents, Research Ethics.

Research philosophy of Plagiarism Awareness amongst high school students in Qatar

There are many types of research philosophies few that are positivism, pragmatism, and interpretivism. These all philosophies are described briefly in this research. These philosophies are also known as a research paradigm.

In this research study, the researcher followed a positivism paradigm under a quantitative approach. The data is collected from the school teachers who are teaching in the secondary for this positivism paradigm. The positivist paradigm is used because it is an easy to process of data collection and data analysis. This study is objective, and this paradigm suits this study the most.

Research Approach of Plagiarism Awareness amongst high school students in Qatar

There is three types of Research approach abdicative research approach deductive and inductive research approach; here we will discuss the deductive research approach.

Deductive approach tests the legitimacy of assumptions close by, though inductive methodology adds to the development of new hypotheses and assumptions. Abductive research, then again, begins with surprising facts and the examination procedure is dedicated their clarification. (Friston, 1999).

In this research study; there is a deductive research approach because this is a quantitative research study under the positivist paradigm and this study is done by following my complete procedure as theories, hypothesis, and assumptions. If any suggestions will be analyzed for a research study that needs to be established or banned at the time of the research process when will following a deductive approach. By using the deductive approach effect of advertisement on promotional can be check.

Source of data collection of Plagiarism Awareness amongst high school students in Qatar

There are two major kinds of the sources of data collection that are usually used for any research study or paper. Both of these are considered as the good and adequate ways for conducting nay research but the selection of the sources of the data collection is entirely depends upon the types and nature of the research study. The selection of the sources of collection is considered by considering the types of the research study. The said study is particularly conducted by using the both sources of data collection that are primary and secondary sources of data collection.  The secondary source of data collection leads towards the preexisting and data and research on the particular topic. Under this source data is collected from the websites, research papers and research articles. The entire kinds of the existing research studies are considered as an essential part of the research. The literature review of the said study is best fitted example for exploring the secondary source of data collection because it explains the numbers of the good examples of the existing data on the particular topic. In contrast the primary source of data collection leads towards the self-creation of the data because under this source data is particularly collected by using the survey from the respondents. It is the good ways to follow the quantitative research methods.

Research Strategy of Plagiarism Awareness amongst high school students in Qatar

There are three types of research method or strategy, quantitative method, qualitative method, and mixed method, according to Burns and Grove cited by Cormack (1991) quantitative method is based on positivism paradigm, and a researcher who follows a positivism paradigm can only use a quantitative approach. In Quantitative way all the data is in the numeric form, and quantitative research large sampling can be used by the researcher and on that statistical data various tests like mean, mod and median will be applied to check the validity of the data and through quantitative method the relationship between the variables through the test correlation can be found. This approach is objective and deductive (Grove, 1991).

In this research, the researcher used a quantitative method and followed a positivist paradigm. The reason behind choosing this quantitative method is that there is a short period and the research is conducted from few cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through a quantitative approach, the researcher gets a valid result in less time by putting the data into SPSS 16.0 software. For this research close-ended questionnaire is developed as an instrument for data collection and the data is collected from the mangers of the airline companies.

·         This study is particularly considered as the limited for measuring the data.

·         The time constraints is also limited for this study because this study is particularly conducted within the limited time period.

·         While conducting this study various kinds of the conflicts can be rises that are related to the personal issues and cultural biases.

·         This study is limited to the small sample sizes that are only 70 respondents.

·         Only the quantitative research method is used in this study.

·         While both sources of data collection are good strategy for conducting this research
