Assignment on Veiled intentions Don’t judge a Muslim girl by her covering

The writer is an outspoken feminist and an observant. First, she quoted Quran verses and then she made a confession in her writing explaining how and when she started covering his head, Hijab and when he started doing veil. The writer clearly described the norms in our society that what people think for being a girl who veil or do hijab. Writer described her interest and girl talk and what actually the girl talk is. She described that her choice of girl talk was the reward for taking the religious responsibility. Then writer explain the modesty of the veil. That it allows her to be seen as a whole person instead of pieces of chicken in dinner. Many American think that veil is oppression tool that is forcefully emphasized on Muslim girls. But it is actually the choice of every woman herself and Islam is not specifying it.

 This population is spending millions on beauty parlous, and plastic surgery it is the same one that takes pity on being for being helpless. Their idea of freedom involves a complicated hairstyle and tons of makeup and jeans on. This is something that writer found out to be more oppressive and caging. Writer said that her parents have a healthy understanding of Islam. Writer then described her interaction with opposite gender in her high school that how she gets involve and what at that time was the need, as every girl want and dream about attention and care. The veil bestowed some other experiences on the life of the writer that are not categorized as negative. Muslim girls traditionally do not tend to display their body it doesn’t mean that Muslim girls do not value themselves as human being. Their degree of modesty is quite high. The value of Muslim women that is placed on their body under their covering is quite high. In Arab’s society being swatches to so many clothes are the sign of their status. Writer said that she understands that woman enjoy the process of beauty and I see there is no harm thing that or indulging in such thing with a reason. Americans girls are giving hours to get ready just for a stranger but they do not give such effort for someone who seem then in intimate settings. The dresses of Muslim girls demonstrate wide range of interpretations of modesty. Wearing a jilbab in high school made me think that I do not need to send a lot of effort for worrying about fashion and trends. I though wear jeans and long-sleeved shirt and wear hijab to cover my hair too. Abaya is my one strict interpretation of modesty. Heart of doing hijab is personal freedom. It made me get through different phases and pass from streets with no self-loathing, or the sexual harassment. No one should get suffer for what they look like or what sort of dress they wear.

All those people were out there but they are not coming out of their car. The dogs were alert and bounced up. They were trying not to waste their energy on useless barking. Now that social worker and the police man were talking. She opened the door and tried to get aside the dog. Then uncle Lawrence put his head out of the door and tried to ask that what is going on. No one ever saw uncle Lawrence to get up from the sleep and getting interest in such matters.

 Then the writer was describing the physical features of uncle Lawrence. That social worker was impressed and tried to flirt but the officer stopped her. Uncle Lawrence put a glance. Thinking of the deadly exhibition he tried to get out of the car and said that I was cleaning when you arrived here. Hormone who was the officer tried to mis behaved. He told him their reason for being there and he was then getting papers out of the car and uncle Lawrence was getting his eye from the pocket.

Then that woman tried to calm down the situation by telling uncle Lawrence that hormone is out of his mind. Then they handcuffed uncle and he was screaming that it was all the scheme and his rights are getting violated. He tried to resist his custody and harmony was telling him to cooperate in order to get some relaxation but uncle Lawrence was not calm at all. Then they went into the house.

They found it empty in a glace. It was comprising of just a rectangular room then the writer is describing the situation of the house that what was placing where. Koob was writing on the notepad but in the presence of Albertine she always doesn’t feel like writing. Then there was the scene or harmony and Albertine where they tried to argue and fight. Somehow, they succeed to find out Buddy. Then at last of the story there is a description of how buddy ate the chocolate and screamed thank you.

Log 10: The summary of the story “They make their climb” can be stated as a bonding between two friends who were like sisters to one another both belonging to different standards of living. Paula Gunn Allen have described the scene in a tremendous manner by closely writing about the sight of the mountains. They have been their support system since their childhood and have always been fond of going on a climb to high rise mountains.

Settling themselves in an orange farm and residing beside the river. Their parents have always admired their relationship but it was not really just friendship it turned out to be something more than that. They have been involved in one another’s life far more than usual and both of them have guided each other.

 But their relationship turned out to be more then in love with each other. They have been more then twin their hairs have been the same but somehow it turned out to be a nightmare for another. Ephanle knew that elena wanted to go on her own and somehow it was true that she wanted to liver her life away from the shadow of her best friend to feel responsible for her own self. At the moment they set off to a journey they were planning for a long time Elena took the chance to say it out when they reached the top of the mountain.

She took a shelter of her mother not allowing but ephanle knew that something else was the matter so she insisted her to feel the same thing she has been feeling their hugs and spending time together have created a fire in their hearts which surpasses the barrier of friendship. They were in love and it was the devil who was encouraging them and elena came to the conclusion that it had to stop or it will perish both of them.

 In the end it was nothing but sadness all over the came from the climb and went to their villages. However, the accumulating sentence will be sometimes having a close friend is important in your life but these friends can come slide on your heart and make you feel trouble and the worst part is you won’t have anyone reaching out to after It all ends.
