Category: Business Paper Type: Essay Writing Reference: APA Words: 700

Introduction of Business Environment in relation to the Employee-Employer Relationship

Every business organization should realize the fact that the employee-employer relationship is vital in a variety of ways. This relationship is so critical for their long term and sustainable success in a given competitive business environment. If there is any kind of trouble in an employee-employer relationship, then an organization will lose so many advantages for its business (Karakowsky & Guriel, 2014). To achieve organizational goals and objectives in any given business environment, it is key to develop a great employee-employer relationship. A loyal employee is a resource, which comes with so many benefits by showing his/her commitment to the cause (O'Brien, 2014). It has been observed in so many cases that employee-employer relationship is able to make a great impact on the business growth of an organization. A research study was conducted in 2014 to find this relationship through evidence. The survey method was used to collect data, and when data was analyzed, it clearly showed that a positive relationship was more productive in so many ways. The employees, who were satisfied with their jobs, they showed more commitment and satisfaction, which led to creating a positive business environment (Xesha, Iwu, Slabbert, & Nduna, 2014)

Body of Business Environment in relation to the Employee-Employer Relationship

If a business organization is dealing with a challenging business environment, where competition is high, and changes are more rapid as compared to other regions, then it is critical to have a workforce to handle these challenges as effectively as possible. Here comes the importance of a positive relationship between employees and their employers (Paul, 2006). If employees are enjoying a good work environment at their job, and they are valued and protected by their organizations, then they will go to any extent to perform more than 100% for their organizations. But if they are not happy with their organizations, as they are not rewarded as per their talent, then such employees will have low morale, which means low productivity and work performance. It means that the organization will face more challenges in facing a changing business environment (Craig, 2017). It is found in so many research studies and surveys that when employees are happy and enjoying a good relationship with their employers, they are more loyal and productive. They even do things, which are not part of their duties. For instance, if a business environment is throwing a great challenge of meeting supply and demand, and an employee may stay late to complete his/her work, without even asked by its employers. Why an employee will do it, because he/she is happy, and his/her relationship with the employer is based on positivity and trust (POWER, 2016)

Conclusion of Business Environment in relation to the Employee-Employer Relationship

There are so many internal and external elements to look at in the context of the business environment, and one such internal element is the relationship between employee and employer. The external elements are uncontrollable, but this element is very much in the control of an organization. They will set the tone for this relationship, and if they will try to make a better relationship with their employees, they will be able to perform well in any given business environment.
