The main
reason that one should never lie on the negotiation table is that the person
might not want to deal with you once he/she is likely to know about your lie
and in the long run it is not good for the reputation of the company.
Secondly,
with the help of lie one can make the other person to have deal with them but
that the liar might not able to provide the other party with the required
output as they promise while negotiating.
The third disadvantage
of the lying is that while negotiation is that the deal might be cancel because
in more of the cases where the one party lies the deal eventually cancels
because the professional people are very good at detecting lies.
