Cloud computing requires
the change into the organizations with the passage of time because of the new
technology and new threats. The data travels immediately across the cloud
computing systems in both directions. As the scientists said, the era of
technology and technology has been implemented in every field. They due to
discovering new security protocols, new technology as well as new things into
the cloud may be introduced over time and to use this, organizations must
change (Khajeh-Hosseini, Sommerville, & Sriram, 2010).
What is the
importance of data backups to an organization? What cloud-based solutions are
available to help with this?
Every organization
in the world focuses always to save the data of the company into a safe place.
But there are many organizations in the world are facing the cyberattacks or
may also face data loss problems. In this situation, companies need to make
data backups. By backing up the data, they can make the data save, no need to
be afraid of the losing data and it provides accessibility of information at
any time. The cloud-based systems are providing the facility to the companies that
their data will automatically be synchronized. Through synchronization, the company’s
data will be saved automatically into the cloud (Mcdowall, 2001).
What
components are in the cloud version of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Office 365)?
Look up some statistics that estimate its uptake across the world.
There are many components are in the cloud version of
Microsoft office 365. The most important Microsoft office 365 is given in the
file. The most important components are an office suite, share point online
(web portal for collaboration), OneDrive for file storage into cloud, business
intelligence tool (Power BI), sway (used to create newsletters, creating
reports and presentation), Yammer (enterprise social networking) as well as
Delve (for the social document discovery). By looking upon the statistics of
office 365 adoption, it is determined that 66.9% of Exchange online, 79.1%
OneDrive for business, 60.4% skype for online business, and 25.2% is Yammer.
Why is it wise for an organization to have an ICT disaster
plan? Broadly, what types of things will it cover and how can you incorporate cloud-based
solutions into this plan.
The ICT disaster plan is basically a recovery plan which
is very important for the companies to secure data. The ICT disaster plan in
the workplace provides help to prevent the catastrophic loss of data. It is
also ensured that the companies’ data will be safe and will be handled securely
by the ICT disaster recovery plan. There are four different types of ICT
disaster plan which is: data center disaster recovery, cloud-based disaster
recovery, virtualization disaster recovery, and disaster recovery as a service.
It is also the service of cloud computing that allows us to sort the data and
then recover remotely (Palen & Liu, 2007).
What are some implications when an organization has a
wide range (brand and model) of peripherals?
There are several companies in the world that may have
several peripherals and some implications also exist for the organizations. Many
companies may also perform some illegal or hidden operations in the devices
that may take the data of the users. The companies need to focus on the overall
operations as well as the productivity of the company because it may possible
that the company can miss very important components that can be very dangerous
for the business of the company. To improve the operations and workability of
the company, it is needed to test every project including checking the
compatibility with previous systems (Olson & Thjømøe, 2003).
How do staff obtain remote access to the internal
systems of an organization?
The staff of the organization can obtain remote access to
the internal systems of the organization though the virtual private network
(VPN). VPN has the ability to create secure association among the device of the
employee and the network of the company across the internet. The secure link is
created by VPN among employee devices and the network on the internet. But the
information which is sent to the employee and sent by the employees will be encrypted
and no one can create interference in the process (Rao, Rodriguez, & Brueggemann, 2012).
List two (2) future cloud computing needs a business
may need or require and explain for each need why it would be required and who
in the business would need to be consulted and who these improvements would
affect.
The Cloud computing will become more secure and more used
in the future and the trendiest things will be adopted in the future that every
company will have the need for that. Basic need of the cloud computing in the
future is that the companies will have the need of larger space to store the
data of the company and the potable drives and disks cannot handle large. In
the future, the companies need the high speed to save and retrieve the data so
they cloud computing can handle their requirements. The trendiest need in cloud
computing will be IoT devices and increasing storage capacity. These two things
or future trends can make the business of the company more intelligent and very
effective. The IoT devices can increase productivity and the larger storage
capacity will minimize the data collection problems because every function of
machine learning will be based on the data (Iyer & Henderson, 2010).
Under what circumstances might training and coaching of
staff not be required following a cloud computing project?
The coaching is a term that leads to take action and give
awareness at the time of employee has the ability and skills to finish the
tasks in the project but sometime they are needed to be coached in the cloud
computing project. The first challenge is that when the company will not have
the time, there is no need to coach employees. It is required when the employees
have to face several problems in the implementation and assessing the project
risks. If the trainer has no strong enough concepts, the training will be
dangerous for their knowledge. When the employees do not want to have training
in the company, then there is no need to train the employees forcefully (Walterbusch, Martens, & Teuteberg, 2013).
Under what circumstances would training and coaching of
staff be required as part of a cloud computing project?
There is some signification circumstance in which the
staff needs to be coached and trained as part of the cloud computing project. The
untrained employees consume more resources or the cost on the project may
increase. If the performance of the staff is starting to decrease in the
project, they require training. Because of a lack of knowledge or not trained
properly, the employees may face several difficulties to complete the tasks but
the employees cannot give surety about classic work which can be harmful to the
business of the company. So, in these circumstances, the employees must be
trained and coached.
What sorts of on-going activities might be needed, or
be a good idea after a large cloud project has been successfully implemented?
After the implementation of the larger cloud computing
project, there can be several types of activities may be needed. After the
implementation of the project, the main activity is to test the cloud computing
project because the data which is flowing can fluctuate through any disruptions.
The validation and verification processes are also applied. After testing the
implemented project, it also needs maintenance after some time to make the
system reliable and smooth. Furthermore, the testing and the maintenance of the
cloud server is necessary to make the cloud project reliable because after
inserting some data into the cloud, it may also need to be secured. In the
ongoing activities, the security of the cloud and the maintenance of the system
are very important to secure the data of the company and to provide the
services in effective way (Mohagheghi & Sæther, 2011).
Name two (2) set-up costs that are likely to be part of
a cloud migration budget
There are several types of setup costs exist that are
likely to be part of the cloud migration budget. Auditing the current IT
infrastructure costs is the first name. In this setup costs, the direct and
indirect costs are calculated. The second name is the Calculation of estimated
cloud intrastate costs.
Name two (2) ongoing costs that are likely to be part
of a cloud migration budget.
There are several different types of ongoing cos that are possible
to be part of the cloud migration budget. The different types of costs are
insurance, interest on the services, council rates, the bank fees, the rental
management cost, strata fees, pest maintenance cost, new tenant cost, and the
tax.
