The case which is given in the assessment is true because the personal computer hardware can have several similarities among the laptops and the desktops. By observing and analyzing the desktop computer and laptop computer, the biggest and main difference between them is that the laptops can be turned on with batter and they have almost everything installed in it which will be needed in further working. On the other hand, the desktop computer comes in the bigger sizes and it is not portable but it is customizable. Everything such as mouse, keyboards, speaker, wireless routers have to installed manually. By analyzing its externals, the keyboards of both of them will be very different. As compared to desktop computers, the keyboard is fined in the machine and these are smaller than actual desktop keyboards as well as they key of laptop are smoother than desktop. By observing on internals, the processors of laptops can be faster than desktop but then cannot be modifiable while the everything in the desktop computer can be modifiable. The hardware and the rams of both workstations are completely different according to their size and build. The hard disk and rams every fan including every component installed in the laptops are smaller than the desktop computers (Straker, et al., 1997).

Different companies in the world are manufacturing devices for the users that can be used in the personal lives and they also be used in offices.

The device picture which given above, it is not a laptop. It is a tablet and can be detached with the keyboard, which can be used in the personal lives and into the offices. On the other hand, the smart phone devices now a days are effective for doing business works without having or carrying lap (Sarker & Wells, 2003).

 They mobile devices have has different types but the most popular devices in the world are the smart mobile phones, tablets and the smart pads. They are very powerful devices that can handle and perform several kinds of functions and operations of the company. The people are now effectively using these devices for their personal use too such as dialing or receiving video calls, capturing pictures, playing video games as well as other types of activities.
