Everyone consumes water on daily basis either through the skin by bathing or orally by drinking water. Actually, clean water is an important nutrient, the foundation of fluids of every living organic. It is essential for sustaining life.

When we talk about achieving great health, consumption of clean water should be our top priority. It has been determined in researches that water is the greatest elixir for beauty.

Did you know that every cell in our body literally bathes in water? It is water makes approximately our brain’s 85 percent, our blood’s 80 percent, and lean muscle’s 70 percent. Water also accounts for sixty percent of the body weight of a man and it represent fifty percent of the weight of a woman.

It is, however, important to note that deficiency of water can lead quickly to dehydration. It is a condition that is experienced when you do not have sufficient water in your body for performing its normal functions.

Therefore, it is more than just a little important to drink enough, but clean water. Following are the health benefits of clean water:

Reduces Headaches: When we drink clean water, it reduces the tendency of headaches. It has been revealed that contaminated water causes us to feel different types of headaches. There are different types of headaches and most of them are related to the consumption of contaminated water.

Helps in Mental Alertness: Obviously, when headaches are caused by the consumption of contaminated water, it makes the person weary and unresponsive. Meanwhile, when a person drinks clean water, it not eliminates headaches but also increases mental alertness of that person. He is able to respond quickly to things and does not feel weary.

Enhances Digestion: Contaminated water has the tendency of disrupting the digestive system of a person. Due to it, stomach aches and in worse cases, diarrhoea is also experienced by the person. Meanwhile, drinking clean water helps in speeding up digestion.

Replenishing Skin Tissue: When we do not drink clean water and do not come in contact with it, it serves to make our skin dry. In some cases, skin even begins to peel off. To replenish skin tissues, clean water should be used for drinking and bathing.

Flushes out Toxins: Using clean water for bathing flushes out harmful toxins from our bodies. Our skin retains toxins from environment and clean water flushes all of these harmful toxins out.
