Category: Business Paper Type: Report Writing Reference: APA Words: 2200

Introduction of Mowasalat Oman:

Mowasalat Oman is establishing in 1972 and 1983, it becomes a permanent member of the international association of public transport and in the Sultanate of Oman, this company is active as a leading transport company. Mowasalat provides huge services to people that include taxi service, private transport contract, transportation in special events, transport of school and universities and transportation city and intercity. Its mission is to promote public transport, to provide a connection to the nearest key cities, having system based organization, reduce congestion in cities and many others. (Mwasalat, 2019)

Flow chart and service blueprint of Mowasalat Oman:

A flow chart is a very tool using by the company to explain its operations and flow of working incorrect directions. Mowasalat uses the flow charts to explain its routes and its services providing directions most effectively. The flow chart is considering old methods for explaining the directions of work in companies. Now, service blueprint is considering the best way to explain the process of the company according to its services. This diagram visualizes the process to maximize the delivers of business according to user requirements and effectively manage all the tasks. In service designing the service, the blueprint is normally used.

Successful service blueprint presents organizational actions and their effective alignment. By well-defined goals and built on research, service blueprint should be the result of a collaborative process. service blueprint includes five basic steps that make it more different and valuable than a simple flow chart. Flow chart simple explain the directions and processes step by step according to changing requirements. But service blueprints include its based objectives and purpose of service with its representations. There are five high-level steps include in the service blueprint that makes is different and more reliable as compared to the flow chart.

These steps are; support finding, explain the goals, research gathering, blueprint mapping and distribute and refine the target. These all step make the blueprint clearer about the target and explain all the processes and steps according to the objective of the company and it also helps to explain its main target more attractively. Many factors enhance the utilization of service blueprints in the organizations and they also promote this usage within the company like the scope of limitation of the company, company involve quality and time measures, iterate process, value output and process and rooted in research. (Gobbons, 2018)

Within project supervision of people and activities and coordination of the procedures smoothly and if the procedure does not go according to the plan then adjusting the circumstances and providing referencing points to the project Prince2 evaluates this efficiently. Each sub-activity has an input and output that are indicated separately through this. On any level of deviation, this performs automatic checks efficiently. It creates close supervision as it divides the whole project into different manageable stages. For all participants, Prince2 provides a common language, because of its structured method. (Vliet, 2019)

Each undertaking has six factors and accordingly six execution viewpoints that should be overseen: costs, time, quality, degree, hazard, and advantages. PRINCE2 is a coordinated system of procedures and subjects that address the arranging, designation, checking and control of all these six parts of venture execution. At its centre, the technique has seven standards, which are controlling commitments and practices that decide if the task is overseen utilizing a PRINCE2 approach

The support must be recorded and affirmed and it needs to stay legitimate all through the lifetime of the task. A venture is constantly connected to its business legitimization and it drives the basic leadership procedure to guarantee the arrangement with the business goals and advantages. The business defence is significant in adjusting the corporate procedures to the venture's goal. On the off chance that the business case isn't thoroughly fabricated, associations hazard continuing with ventures that have a couple of genuine advantages and poor arrangement with the corporate technique. Indeed, even mandatory tasks need business support, as there are numerous choices on the best way to build up a venture which leads to various costs, advantages, and dangers. Albeit, for the most part, the defence ought to stay substantial, there are situations when they may change. In any case, it is significant that the task and advancing defence stay predictable. For the situation that the undertaking can never again be supported, the task ought to be halted and the assets ought to be reinvested in different ventures that are increasingly beneficial.

Current service delivery of Mowasalat Oman:

Mowasalat Oman is a company owned by the government. It provides the best service for bus transportation in Oman. Between Muscat and Shalala and other cities of Oman, it runs the daily public transport buses within the city and intercity transport. In Muscat, Shalala and Sohar the company runs its buses for public transport. (Travel with Hussain, 2020). Company has more than 350 buses that are equipped with the CCTV cameras and seats including the air-conditioned buses and double decker’s. Mowasalat passed a million passengers in the cities with its effective service.

To supply around 350 buses, Mowasalat is inviting bid from local and international bus companies and coach dealers for the contract. It includes different buses of different models like double Decker vehicles, low floor coaches and expresses coaches. In the five months, more than 11 million people use the services of Mowasalat. The government plan is to expand the services of the company through its effective planning for the public transport system of the country. The company want to explore a new way for public transportation and provide lots of facilities to people because transportation is the basic requirement of every person.

The service routes are mention in the office of the Mowasalat to guide the people about their route and tickets also provided from the offices. Its intercity service provides lots of facilities and complete routes are mention to the users according to their convenience. The company focus on providing the best transportation services to its all the users and people of all the areas of Oman so that they can avail this facility and travel from one city to another with their convenience. Company is considering the best transportation service provider in Oman and also focus on expansion strategies for making its services better and reachable for all the people. (Thomas, 2016).

Diagnosis of GAPS of Mowasalat Oman:

Unfortunately, I can’t find any published data for comparing the efficiencies of the commercial car’s engines to any other such experiment which had been done previously Furthermore, there’s the fact that higher deviation from reversibility of the thermodynamics correspond by shorter cycles, the combustion engines thermal efficiencies within a large range of the frequencies use to remain almost constant.

So we can say with the 3700 rpm the efficiency decreases because of the deviations but it is higher in terms of ideal diesel cycle instead of the terms of reversibility. Moreover, in any case, the consistency of the 'g' should not extend the reader's conclusion because it is incorrect & erroneous. It states that the efficiency of the total engine depends on gear & velocity. What must be taken into account is the engine's mechanical losses () as it is used to evaluate the overall efficiency of the engine (Amara et al., 2006; Roura & Oliu, 2012).

The result of my experiment allowed me to experience the consumption of fuel usage. I came across to know the reason behind why at 2000rpm the consumption with the 80km/h is higher as compared to at 50km/h. Furthermore, with 2700 rpm, the consumption with the 80km/h is lower as compared to at 50km/h. Another important thing to consider is the size and the engine power of the car; it has been shown by renowned publishers that the commercial cars' fuel consumption increases by 32% with the increment on its mass by 50% mainly by keeping its power as constant per unit mass. We won't find it surprising if we look at the proportionality of braking losses on mass & the rolling resistance. Additionally, there is an increase of 17% in fuel consumption and 50% in the engine power for the same mass (Marshall, 2008).  We do not know what the basic origin of this relationship is. It seems like it's because of the mechanical losses of the engine. There is no doubt that in this whole study, the size of the car is small which contributes chiefly towards making this car highly fuel-efficient.

Service redesign of Mowasalat Oman:

This section is concluded with two facts. Firstly, the fuel economy of American cars has gradually increased in 25 years by 15% due to continuing innovations in technology (Roura & Oliu, 2012). It means that the consumer enjoys the innovation of the increasing car size & power but they didn't have a good effect on the cars environmental impact. Secondly, the average fuel consumption rate is decrement by 3.7% in the cars sold in Europe in 2010. Later on, it is estimated that there is 5% reduction because of the technological innovation which happens due to the increment in the size of the car.

Only the car and some measuring tools are used to experiment. If we're testing the fuel efficiency of the car, shouldn't we be experimenting with some sort of comparison? Maybe with another car that doesn't fuel efficient?

No, as discussed previously I'm experimenting on the most awarded fuel-efficient car to check what are the basic reasons which make it more & more efficient its depend on examining the car instead of any comparison.

The experiment is done by carefully examining the efficiency of the car. I’ll perform this by driving and measuring via its Rpm. Additionally, I examine the engine capacity by carefully doing the calculations with the given formulas as discussed in the above section after the experiment is performed.

In the observation, I want to discuss the fuel economy of the car which is too high as we have seen in the study moreover to show that the size of the car and its engine power plays a vital role. Some of the innovative strategies may reduce some of the work which is needed to improve the car's efficiency:

a)      The optimal aerodynamic design could have reduced the air drag

b)      The tires of lower mechanical hysteresis could have minimized the rolling resistance.

c)      The energy which is used to accelerate the car (meant by braking losses), this energy is lowered by using the low-density metal alloys & fibre-reinforced plastic composites in several components. All of this work is done by the engine of the car, & the efficiency of the engine depends on its mechanical losses & the heat generated.

The car which we are experimenting has low heat loss which is a clue for its high fuel efficiency (Roura & Oliu, 2012). The car-size & engine power is important. It has been noted that the fuel consumption is increased by 32% of the commercial cars whenever their mass is increased by 50% when its power is kept by unit mass constant. There's no surprise in this dependence about the proportionality of braking losses on mass & the rolling resistance, plus the force of air dragging on the cross-section of vehicle. However, with this mass there is an increase in the fuel consumption of 17% & for the power on an engine there's an increase of 50%. Despite the basic origin of this relationship is not exactly known but it's probably because of the mechanical losses of the engine. There is no doubt that the small size of the car in this experiment plays a vital role in providing high fuel efficiency. Let's sum up this section with two facts. The first is without some innovative change in technology the average American car's fuel consumption increased by 15% from 1980 to 2005. This revealed to us that any of the advantages which the technology gives were coordinated at the consumer by expanding the power & the size of the car. They have a very small impact on reducing environmental issues by the car. Secondly, in 2010, the average cars sold in Europe has witnessed a decrease of 3.7% in fuel consumption. Later on, it is estimated that there is 5% reduction because of the technological innovation which happens due to the increment in the size of the car.

Conclusion of Mowasalat Oman:

A test is conducted to estimate the commercial car energy proficiency. I have performed a trip to observe why the car is so fuel-efficient. The thermal efficiency of the car is resolved around 40% which is the value that is free of the frequency this is because by carefully examine each measurement done during the experiment. Moreover, the car's designers should focus on the details which are highlighted here about the car size which affects its consumption to improve future work. Incorporating everything, my experience is that only technology doesn't lessen the effect of cars on the environment. Constraining the car's size and energy of the car is also important
