2. Write in a 3rd
person style; don’t use the first-person style by using “I”, “We”, etc.
Moreover, improve English Language! It is highly recommended to contact the
Center of Academic Writing for improving the language of the report.
3. The introduction
for the report should start with a general introduction then moving towards
more specific information and at the end of the introduction section you can
provide the primary objectives of the report; don’t forget to support all the
information with the citation.
4. Under the
principles and methods section; 1) enhance the theory part focusing on the
concept and real application of the experiment in the real-life supported with
references, 2) present the equations you are going to use in the calculation
section, 3) use scientific sources as references in all sections of the report,
4) enhance the procedures and write id details for the steps of each experiment.
5. In the data and
results section; 1) make sure you provide correct units of all the values you
presented; 2) provide some text to introduce the data and results before
presenting them; 3) table title should be at the top of the table, not below
it; 4) check the calculation and make sure that the number you got is all
correct without any errors; 5) define all the symbols used in the equations
before using them in the calculation.
6. Improve titles of the
sections and subsections.
7. Discussion section
(check the spelling); this is a very important section! I want a deep
discussion of each experiment. Analyze the results you got and discuss them
with justification and provide your opinion. You have to link your results with
the results presented in the literature supported by the references. Support
your justification with the literature review, show the error percentage for
each experiment and how that will affect, discuss the causes of these errors
and how they can be avoided, etc.
8. The conclusion
section; the first paragraph is about the main objective of the report followed
by the conclusion of the first, second, and third experiments. The last
paragraph is general for the entire report. Remember that in this section you
are answering the report objectives, that’s why for each experiment, you have
to represent the objectives in a different format and present the core results
with the justification, which should also be concise.
9. References; don’t
forget to follow CU Harvard references format; cite all the information in text
and provide the references at the end in the references list. I recommend you
to use scientific sources in your report.
