Here in this essay what
thing needs to be discussed is about an English language. There are many
different areas or places where English is the language that is still
considered to be common and people do speak it. But along with this, there are
many other places as well and many families too that feel much difficulty while
speaking this English language and they are being judged. How they are being
judged and in what way? These all are the things which will be discussed in an
essay.
INTRODUCTION
of Is English Language
Still Considered to Be an Important Part of Daily Life?
Purpose
of writing this essay on Amy Tan’s “Mother Tongue” is about an individual which
shows that how difficult and challenging it gets when a person gets raised by
the parent who can’t speak English so much but they use it in a limited way
like the mother of Tan because it can further result partially in the people to
be judged in a poor way by the others. Her mother was the primary care giver,
along with this her mother used to be one of the significant part of the
childhood. She was also one of the strong influencer for the writing style of
Tan. As she was being raised by her mother and she also taught her that the
perception of one person for this whole world is heavily relied upon the
language that is being spoken at home in a casual way. Here in this article,
she addressed or highlighted some of the alarming cases for all of the
inappropriate attitude or action (citrix, 2007). Looking at the story of Amy Tan, it is
viable to see if English language is still considered to be an important part
of the daily life, making an effect on people, how they conduct themselves in
their homes with families, or how they have to conduct themselves in their social
lives, when speaking to others.
BODY
of Is English Language
Still Considered to Be an Important Part of Daily Life?
The
purpose of writing this article was mainly about the daughter that is trying to
describe that how does it actually feels to live with only a single mother and
especially when she is mother. How does it get to feel while being raised by
her? Each and everything has been described here in detail. Her mother used to
speak a broken English language. As Amy has also explained out that it is only
because someone tries to express about their language in the broken language.
It doesn’t mean here that they should be treated with less respect at all as
compared to the other person who speaks an appropriate English language.
Another factor that I believe here is that my was trying to get across only
because that if someone here doesn’t know how to speak English language means
what they have to say is considered to be less valuable. Amy faced number of
different difficulties while dealing with this issue. (Huang, 2017)

part is associated with the link that has been given and it states here that
what is the actual reason due to which using a period in the text message makes
one feel or sound to be angry or insecure? People have begun to notice that
there are the slight changes to the way our smallest punctuation mark is being
deployed through certain kind of the declarations which is going completely out
of style to claim that something is becoming an angry. Periods are being used that
can still signal out the end of a sentence in any kind of the text message and
there are many users that will completely omit it particularly when the whole
message is just one sentence prolonged. These days text messaging is a kind or
source of the conversation through which people gets connected and talk about
different things. Language seems to be bit different when used in the messages
and then the other part is when face to face. Both these situations vary from
one another. (Samir, 2018)

paragraph is also associated with one of the links that has been given and here
I am going to talk about it in a small way. The topic is The Side Eye: This is
not a table. Different images have been shown in the link with certain language
bars that are arguing over a table and they are having a discussion. One person
says by holding or grabbing table in hand and saying out that this is not a
table, he somehow do accept it that yes it is a table but it is not just a
single or simple table (Lesikar, 2008). This is also somehow associated with
the language here that no matter what English is not known to be the dominant
language and it is not important or necessary that everyone here in the world
needs to know that hoe English language needs to be spoken because in our
society or culture it has been assumed somehow that no matter what happens one
should always know that how to speak English and people judge them on the terms
of this language. Then it has been said in the conversation of one person that
discussion is not just about the English language but the objects as well along
with the values and opinions that are being shaped out by the surroundings as
well as our culture and the history as well. So as thinking changes for the
different objects, which are around us according to the different people like as
example has been given of the table. Same is the case with the language. It
also varies from one area to the other and we should not judge others at all on
this that who speaks better English language and who don’t (Liu, 2017).
CONCLUSION
of Is English Language
Still Considered to Be an Important Part of Daily Life?
At
the end I want to conclude by summarizing about all the above three paragraphs,
they are from different outsources and their topics also vary from one another
but here the main thing that has been discussed in paragraph 1, 2 and 3 is
simply about the language that how English language has been given importance
over the time period. People still consider English language as one of the most
appropriate language and which is being used by almost everyone around the
globe. This is not just it; there are many people who still can’t speak English
language and people start judging them on this. We should not be the one to
judge others only because of this Language as everyone has their own way of
thinking, their traditions and culture. So the main thing is we should not
judge at all.
