who is the educational minister of Oman inaugurated the first ever educational
cinema in the region that aligns with BP Oman’s social investment programs
aiming at providing the objective to support local educational paradigms. It
has been observed in the country that the educational sector is growing with
rapid speed that has made it imperative to have pace with the global trends (Citycinemaoman.net, 2018). Education with
modern techniques and technologies employed provides new dynamics for
interactive learning to create healthy environments for students that can help
them in retaining information capacities.
The main objective of 7D cinemas
should be only to enrich the educational experiences of not only students but
also their guardians with this innovative project.
This project of 7D theaters has added value to the Nizwa Science and Technology
Centre facilities where it has sought to create an amusing learning environment
with various dimensions of technology that allocates interactive learning
experience as well as entertainment lessons with the help of various movements
and motions within the hall. This is a first of its kind project in the region
of not just Oman but whole Sultanate and equipped with more than200 educational
movies that have been licensed for over 100 entertainment movies as well and
few documentaries for a span of 10 years (Trip Advisor.Com, 2018)
Students, parents,
faculty members and other educational sector groups are being targeted for this
innovative program having many other valuable dimensions to be explored at
later stages. This innovation will allow the users to get even better
experiences in all sorts of 3D movies and will allow students to build
informative learning through a fun and amazing experience consistent with
motions and movements while watching films (Dewi, 2019).
The goal of this development is to ensure that people understand and value the
significance of science and its motive behind with the help of interactive
activities and for such reason, five halls have been created so that different
schools can have multiple access simultaneously as it is a virtual platform for
learning enabling users to interact through three dimensional simulation
providing scientific literature in accordance to modern developments all over
the society infused with technology and other technical support for not just to
be deployed in scientific innovations but to help in many governmental
initiatives as well. The cinema is also equipped with a scientific laboratory
based on science and technology to explore valuable facts. (Cardoso, 2016)

Every person in the world
loves the movies most but they will prefer to watch movies in highest quality in
environment of 3D or more. The people of Oman are also in seek of such cinema
theaters. So, by considering their interests, Nizwa Science & technology center
has opened the educational cinema in the country that will let the customers
experience movements and motions throughout the screen. The project needs the
proper and accurate marketing plan and clear objectives and some rules and
regulations will also be applied in cinemas to control and manage the
saturation in cinemas.
As the cinema is current
sponsored by BP Oman, so plan for the shows are managed in which 6
documentaries, 100 entertainment movies as well as 200 educational movies selected.
Furthermore, the cinema is focusing to assist the faculty members as well as
students but the other groups such as local residents and other office staffs
are also allowed to have the facilities in the future. But, the management of
seating plan and providing service to every group is the biggest challenge for
the management of 7D cinemas. So, it is decided to put limitations on every
group because every group can have the entertainment and education services
equally ( Times News Service, 2019).

practicability and equipment options for the right audience including what
range of price they’d be willing to pay, cinema style, seating options and also
the consumer consumption habits. Other points that need to be evaluated

targeted groups are the students studying in schools and colleges based on the demography
and psychography. Furthermore, the faculty members and their parents will also
be interested or attracted to come into cinemas because of their similar
interest like entertainment and refreshment with families.
