Discussion on the Statement of Purpose

This statement is written to express my passion, interest, and purpose to get enrolled in the PhD program of this prestigious university of (country name). I am applying for this university because of its advanced education and teaching system in the field of engineering. Moreover, (write here University name) is among the famous and well-reputed universities of (country name) for in excellent student support and wellbeing. University facilitates its students to learn new skills and advanced knowledge in electrical engineering and other respective fields of life to grab on future career opportunities in national and international markets. Apart from this, another reason to apply at this university is my childhood dream to study in this institute.

I have planned to get admission in specifically Electrical Engineering because of a couple of reasons. First of all, a PhD in Electrical Engineering will enable me to polish my research skills which is a basic requirement to be an effective teacher in this field. As I stated in my resume I am currently serving a public university in my homeland on lecturer position. Thus, conducting research in electrical engineering during the PhD program will increase my capabilities and knowledge to educate students with modern and latest theories in electrical engineering. Secondly, I am eager to get enrolled in this PhD Electrical Engineering program to invest in my future career in academics. By getting a higher research degree in this field I would be able to get promotion easily. Briefly speaking, admission in this PhD Electrical Engineering program will assist me to accomplish my future goals. My short term goals are to enhance my knowledge and learn more about the advanced electrical engineering field. While my long term goal is to get a promotion and have a secure job position in future.
