I need to consider the very own areas of the responsibility within my working area and how the practice underpins the different kind of the values of equality and diversification. Equality is to make sure that everyone is being treated in an equal and fair way regardless of their abilities which they have like set of beliefs, religion, age, sector, gender and last thing is their social status. Diversity here recognizes that no doubt people have different things in common with one another but they obviously are different as well as unique in number of different was. Diversity is completely about recognizing along with valuing all those differences and it also consists of the visible as well as non-visible factors.

Everyone deserves to be treated in an equal way and there should not be given any leverage and favors to the ones that are special or have high status or standards. Within the working area, everyone is definitely supposed to be treated in an equal way and they should be.

There are multiple barriers that have been found to the equality and inclusion in the own area of responsibility which are mentioned below:

Age is one of the biggest barrier that has been known so far. Senior people are always given favor and leverage as compared to the young people and this should not be done like this. Yes they should be given importance and respect as they are senior but that doesn’t mean at all that all the young people or workers are supposed to be overburden.

Gender is the other barrier and here it has been assumed out that communication here can incite different problems at working area. Women are being treated in a different way as compared to the male and this should not be done like this at all. Each and every person needs to be treated according to the post he or she is on.

Disabled people are not that much confident and other people also don’t treat them in a proper way. This is completely wrong. These people should be given out proper care and respect and they deserve favor among all the normal people who are physical fit as compared to them.

Faith barrier is the one which I have witnessed that it takes place because in the working place people are from different areas and they share different belief according to the faith which they have or share so it has been seen that this is one of the most common barrier to the equality and inclusion to the own areas of responsibility.

The equality act according to 2010 clearly identifies here that if any of the social or the health care organization provides different services, goods and facilities then it needs to make sure that all of them are being given or fulfilled within the set of requirement under the law. This is the act which brings together almost number of different individual parts of the legislation into the complete set of law to make sure that the law is in the equality and the diversity.

This equality act 2010 is the one that applies to any of the organization. This is act that is being applied to the private, voluntary, statutory organizations no matter what size do they all have. This is the law that effects almost everyone who are running out an organization along with applying it to the staff as well as the volunteers which may do anything on the behalf of any organization.

Through the impact of inclusion, people may start learning the acceptance of the other people and there are different and unique abilities that varies from person to person. I have been in a situation back in the working area and I have realized here that elimination of the discrimination and exclusion are the most important factors and they needs to be removed. I found out that I along with my colleagues have found that my senior or can be called as the head of department used to treat people in a low and inferior way. Everyone needs to be treated equally but in my department employees used to be treated in an inferior way and not in the way which they deserve to be. I asked my employees and colleagues to take an action and stand against this as no one would help others until or unless things are being lined up and employees won’t stand up for their own rights. So I talked to them and asked them to be strong in this field and give enough of the confidence to others as anyone needs to be the role model and only then others can stand up by seeing you. So I along with my employees gave confidence to others in challenging out the discrimination and exclusion. These things make people in guilt and people can’t take any decision on its own. This makes people feel inferior. Challenging this made people and employees confident and therefore people can take decisions easily. Different policies do provide the guidance for the staff along with the visitors as well to the home on different ways to make sure all of the inclusive practices.
