Certainly, I believe that post-high school days were the testing times in my life because I had to decide my future, but I stood tall in that challenging time and faced those challenges with brave attitude. While entering professional life at a very young age, I realized that I had to think out of the box and do something extraordinary. But still, I needed a great chance to continue with my education and gain some great international experience. Finally, after several sleepless nights and full-day effort plus hard work, my government acknowledged my potential skills and capabilities and awarded me with a scholarship to pursue a bachelor degree in the United States, this is where I entered a new phase of life. The opportunity was big to study in New York, but it was challenging at the same time, because English was not my native language, and I only had a bit of know-how of British English from my school. But I never felt comfortable with English, and always faced the issues with accent and pronunciation. In routine life, it was even hard for me to use Englis with daily life. So, I worked hard to develop my English skills, and for that, I started spending more than 40 hours a week to enhance my skills, which helped to get my English better.

Wanting nothing more than just to expand my pools of knowledge concerning the culture, business, and interpersonal relationships in the changing society, a logical step is participating in the degree of Communication Studies. It will, I know, nourish my existing skills. By completing my degree in Advertising and Public Relation and Technology, I have built a strong foundation of analytics and communication. At the University, I will be struggling to perfect my skills. I believe that I can make a place in the list containing highly skilled students of KEAN University by using my commitment, dedication, and determination. I wish to involve myself in several groups, societies, and if University allows me, forming a group of University’s elites where they can share their diverse experiences, and well-managed values.

The overall experience during my studies has been great in so many ways. I have been able to even disagree with the opinions of my professors, and I have always been given a chance to describe my opinion, which used to be opposite to the professors’ opinions. We used to discuss the disagreement points to reach a conclusion, where discussion is ended at the same point agreed by us. I used to give my professors valid arguments on why they are slightly wrong in their opinion. Based on my information, The two ways process has been great for my learning and growth as I have been able to gain so much knowledge, and this relationship with professors has been great for my knowledge as an individual. This discussion and difference of opinion with professors allowed me to learn skills such as strategies of negotiating with others and resolving the conflicts.

Spending two years to focus and learn perfect English has helped me gain significant experience in the English speaking countries’ experience. In terms of learning cultures and business strategies, communication is a major player, and I would gradually want to earn either certificate that university is offering along with master’s degree, i.e. conflict resolution, leadership and public relations/journalism. My parents, not surprisingly, used to call me Dr Ayman since I was just five years old. After meeting and knowing several doctors as I grew, I realized and understood that; having Dr prefix is not overnight, and I need to work hard to get this position. Then I changed my field and pursued a degree in Advertising and public relation and technology, and it was a hard and fun new experience every day, this is my first step on my path, I was lucky because I been studying in the city that never sleeps — New York City. A University is the hub of learning; I wish to learn academically from people I meet and share what I have through my knowledge. In the process, I will further expand my skills and diverse experience.

I have been involved in volunteer work where I used to work for real customers, and I have made connections with others during this experience. I had a great time to learn different skills, which helped me a lot in real-world situations to deal with customers. I must say that the practical world is very different from what we generally learn in class. The people who don’t face challenges in their lives, and do not indulge in intense competition; they can never become strong in their lives, because they shy away from challenges in each stage of their lives, so when hard times come, they are not prepared to deal with it with iron hands. The challenges make a person a strong one, who finds out a solution for every problem, and this is what my challenges in life have prepared me to be stronger, honest as well as more responsible.

Why Communication Studies? It is my drive, my motivation, and my passion to reach further and further in becoming global that has pushed me at your threshold. I have strong faith that communication study is my lifeline, and that is just where I belong to. Even if international cultures and business strategies aspects seem challenging at first, I would never back away from understanding communication concepts to become perfect in my field.

Why KEAN University? KEAN University has the international standard and prestige that attracts a strong diversity of students; it has a powerful identity has an international institute of education with connections at world and state affairs. Furthermore, this institute’s diversity is sufficient to increase regional and cultural awareness, together with various communication strategies and plans. Indeed, studying in KEAN University may not help me to achieve every short and long term goal of my life, but still, this experience could be wonderful for me to explore life and its toughest moments. It will be a great experience to explore the lives of others who are suffering, and then help them out to get out of the trouble. So, overall, experience with my studies could be so beneficial and great for my personal as well as professional growth.

Future Plan After Graduate: From a very young age, I have been witnessing the growth and development globalization and cultural diversities that made me realize that communication is one of the major aspects of the success in globalization, and that has been a primary cause of stirring my curiosity in communication studies. At a sensible age and capable of diving deeper into the depths of this occupation, I travelled together with my family business and got the drive-by familiarising with various fascinating loops of the professional world. Ever since then, my engagement and interest have only grown, and I am steady to pursue a communication studies degree. I am determined to tackle every hurdle to achieve this goal. That is why I would like to engage in a Communication Studies Degree for gaining necessary practical experience and diverse academic knowledge to become capable of gradually exploring quantitative and interpretative research methods.
