Taco Bell is a food
restaurant based in California. The restaurant deals with the Mexican foods,
including tacos, burritos, nachos and special variety of value menu items.
According to the survey of 2018, Taco Bell is serving more than 2 billion
customers every year (Kautz, 2017)
Glen Bell, an
entrepreneur who opened very first restaurant of hot dog, founded the Taco Bell
in 1948. In Mitla café, Bell watched long long lines of the customer and saw
the café to cover the success in days. Bell wants to learn about the recipe of
tacos. He contacted the owner of the café to watch the engineering process of
tacos and owner allowed him. He got all the and opened a new stand named as
Taco Tia in 1952 (Kautz, 2017)
With time, Bell opened several
Taco Tia restaurants in California. In 1962, Bell sold Taco Tia and built very
first Taco Bell in Downey. After this Taco Bell started a franchise and rapidly
expanded his business over 100 branches in the same year.
PepsiCo bought Taco Bell
from Glen in 1978. In 2015, the building of Taco Bell was moved from Downey to
Irvin. Taco Bell opened the first Taco Bell in San Francisco. This was a short
menu restaurant with minimum prices of all items. Taco Bell express worked as
tuck shops, shopping malls and at the airports. Taco Bell started co-branding
with KFC in 1995. The co-branding with Pizza hut and long John Silver is still
running (Kautz, 2017)
In the mountain view,
PepsiCo started the new concept of “Fresh Grill” and with tamalito pudding and
fresh salsa bar, which is still open in 2018. With time, PepsiCo started cargo
shipping for music events which was successful as it is as the tacos business.
Taco Bell announced the plan in 2017 to open 300 more branches till 2022.

ideas are acceptable by customers, it is implemented.
b) Analyse
the feedback from customers and determine a suitable parameter for the trial
process.
c) Monitor
the idea and reflect the reviews to feedback. Feedback is the most constructive
way to know about new ideas.
