It takes a lot of dedicated time and efforts to manage the people in the workplace.  In the Human resource department, there are many of the steps includes in the entire cycle of managing people. The manager in the workplace has to go through many challenges and invest a lot of time to guide people and maximize their performance and productivity. As it is obvious that the employees in the workplace are the biggest asset of any organization, and their performance can result in the success or failure of the organization. The people managing is also one of the most complicated things to deal with by the manager. In this report, there would be the discussion about the importance and implementation of training, team development and growth, the leadership of your team, goal setting, feedback and encouragement, conflict management, a motivation that are different elements of people management cycle (McPheat, 2018).

There are many aspects of management are there that have an impact on the overall people productivity and efficiency in the organization. To manage the people efficiency, it is essential for the manager to be very clear about the goals of an organization and manage the people and their performance accordingly (McPheat, 2018).

Training of in Managing People

 In the modern era, each day business is growing rapidly, and technology is changing rapidly. It is very important for the employees in the organization to be with the flow of the new demands of the business and technology that company in using.  The training of the employees have the huge impact on the productivity, and it is the duty of the manager to make the training more interesting and smooth for the employees so they can get maximum benefit out of it. Being the leading manager in the organization the effective training of the employees is very important, as it does not only help the manager to improve the performance of employees but also help the employees to be more efficient in doing their work on company’s cost (HEATHFIELD, 2018).

I think this course regarding training has helped me a lot to learn about the fundamentals of effective training of employees in the organization that can increase the productivity of employees in the long run. In the future, I want to peruse my carrier as leading manage in a well-known organization, so it is very important for me to know about all the important factors of effective training of the employees. I have also got to know about different types of training that can be carried out depending on the needs and goals of an organization. There are many managerial tactics of effective training are there that I have learned from the course and would help me in future to peruse my career as a business leader.

To manage good training, I think I need to be more open to the new experiences and motivated. I must have the attitude of constant learning and must also be curious to know about the impacts that this new training can bring to then organization. For effective training, I have to show more collaborative, support and compassion for the employees. I also must have good knowledge of business, the ability to measure the needs of employees and effective interpersonal and communication skills. So, I may say that by acquiring all of the practical management skills and attributes I will be able to manage the people in my role as a leading manager in the future.

Team Development and Growth of Certificate in Managing People

     For the progress of any business team development and growth is a very important aspect and being a manager, it is very important to know about the effective management of the in the organization. The leadership skills are essential for team development and growth of the employees in the company.  The development of a team in the organization involves many stages like forming, storming, norming, performing and adjourning, the team in the organization is developed by going through all of the stages. The task that is needed to be done can be mange effectively only if they manage to do effective team development. The team development and growth is essential to organize the task into groups according to employee’s abilities and for the constant growth of business in the industry (Cardinal, 2015).

I have learned a lot from the team development and growth in the course, and it would help me in the future ineffective management of teams. As a leading manager in the future, I would like to implement the learning of team development and growth for better performance in leadership roles. In making my team, I would keep in mind the strength and weaknesses of all employees to assign them with most suitable roles. I know that for developing the effective team, it is very important to first make the goals of the organization very clear to all of the team members so that they perform well to augment the growth rate of business (HEATHFIELD, 2018).

For good team development and growth, it is very important for me being the managers of a team to have good managerial skills and attributes so that it would be easier for me to manage people. The attributes that I must have to be good at team development and growth are to be supportive, collaborative and understating. I must also have good communication and analytical skills. I must say that by acquiring all of the effective managerial attributes and skills, I will be able to manage the people in and develop good teams in the leadership role (Nystrom, 2017).

The leadership of Your Team

The effective leadership is essential to improve the productivity and efficiency of a team in the organization. The leader in any organization in one who provides the direction and guidance to all of the team members to work effectively. To be an effective manager it is very important to think like leaders, in other words, it’s mean to take charge of the work of their team members and get the most benefit out of the people. The reason why some business productivity is very high they are making very exceptional things that all about the leadership that they have. So the leadership is very important for the managers and also for the team members.

Management is all about leadership, and the reason why many managers' fails is that they are very work oriented and not think regarding relationship building and connection with the team members. The learning in this course about leadership would prove very helpful for me in the future and also assist me to manage the people around me effectively. In my role as a manager in future, I would make sure that I must hold all essential characteristics of good leaders that would not only prove productive for the business but also create a good organizational culture in the company. I would also try to collaborate with employees and try to understand the problems that they are having in their job roles. Being a team leader, I would also make sure to provide the best solution for all problems the team members will be having in the company.

Leadership is a skill that builds with practice and to be a good leader one have to keep in mind many of the aspects of leadership. Some of the attributes of leadership that I must show up in the future would be integrity, inspirational, good communicator, and capabilities of decision-making, delegation, accountability and empowerment. To be a good leader of the team, I must have effective skills understating the situation and provide a good solution to the people for their problems.

Goal Setting of Certificate in Managing People

  The goal setting is essential for the company to keep the business on the right track and it is also a kind of accountability, how effectively the organization is chasing its vision. It is very important for the company to know about its objectives and goals so that their actions are always moving company 1 step head towards their vision. The goals set eliminates the confusions and make the employees more focus towards the goals. So it can be said that the effective goals setting is essential for the progress and development of the business. The goals set also motivates the employees because by setting goals the employees are more aware of the outcomes of their effectiveness and it encourages the employees to accomplish the goals to move closer to the vision of organization (RUSS, 2017).

Being a leader in the organization, I would make sure to make the goals of the company more clearly to the employees to maximize their performance. I have learned from the course to set SMART goals to optimize the working of organizations. I think it is very important to discuss all of the goals to the employees in the company so that they have more sense of belonging to the organization and the goals getting also motivates the employees to be more efficient because their work directly has an impact on the company. From this learning, I gain a lot of information about setting goals that have a positive impact on the organization growth (Abraham, 2017).

It is very important for the manager to have good goal-setting skills to direct the organization towards the right path that eventually help the organization to get closer its vision. For effective goals setting I being a manage would build attributes of effective decision making, strategic thinking, and understanding needs of an organization. In the organization for goal setting the manage must have the good skills of analytics and decision making.  In the future I would make sure to show all of the attributes and skills of good goals setting, and being an organizational leading manager it would also help me to make effective decision for the future of the organization and it would also assist the employees to be focus and put their attention to the goals of company.

Feedback and Encouragement of Certificate in Managing People

             It is very important for the managers in the organization to get proper feedback from the employees and also encourage them to give their opinion.  The managers must know about what are the problems that employees are facing in the organization, and it is only possible by getting timely feedback from them about the management and the issues they are having regarding their job and work in the organization. Encouraging people is also important to increase their performance in the organization because more encouragement motivates the employees to be more efficient in their job and being confident while offering any opinion to the managers (Abudi, 2010).

I know that for the manager it is essential to know the problems that people in the organization are having and to recognize the issue, there must be some system in the organization to get the feedback from the employees. I my management in the future I would like to get timely feedback from the employees to know that people think about my management and if there is something that helps people resolve their issues. The feedback also helps me to get direct recommendations from the people reading my management in the organization. I would also encourage the people to take part in the organizational decision making and give their opinion because employees are the ones who deeply know about the functionally and operations of the organization and their opinions and recommendations mean a lot for the organization. 

The manager must be very proactive because the feedback of employees can be a bit harsh sometimes and it is the attribute of a good leader to deal with this situation sensibly and not be so reactive on the difficult situation. To get feedback from employees and encourage them I must possess the attributes like being proactive, steady head and open to opinions. I make sure to improve my listening, understanding, and problems solving skills to be good at getting feedback and encourage the employees to maintain an extrovert attitude in the organization. By acquiring these skills, I would be able to manage the people and develop good teams in the role of a manager in the future. 

Conflict Management

It is obvious that ion the organization because of a difference in opinions, interest, and thoughts conflicts are likely to raise. To manage the conflicts in the organization effectively, the manager must maintain a good organizational culture, and if any conflict occurs, he has to provide a good solution to the problem. In the organization, if conflicts not managed on time, it can bring a constant tension and disturbance in the organization. It is also important for the managers to minimize the probabilities of conflicts by developing a good bond between employees so that there would be fewer chances of causing issues among the employees. Conflict management plays a significant part at organizations to avoid any kind of conflicts and for employees to focus more on their jobs. The managers in the workplace must guarantee that the responsibilities and roles of each employee are visibly converted to them.

In the future for my role as a manager, I would make sure to eliminate the conflicts among the employees. Conflicts can create negative energy in the organization it can also reduce the productivity of employees. In this course, I have come to know about the importance of conflict management and how managers can manage the conflict in the organization. I think a positive organizational culture can reduce the rate of conflicts and being a manager, I would focus more to build a good organizational culture to avoid any sort of conflict between the employees. If any conflict occurs, I will try to listen to both parties, and without being biased, I try to support the right person or resolve the conflict by suggesting them a solution acceptable to both of them.

For the managers, it is always very complicated to deal with the conflicts because there are many chances for them to being a judge if they are favoring one person. In the future, I would try to be less biased and more understanding to resolve any conflict between employees and also encourage the positive organizational culture where employees have good relations with one another it would also help me to avoid any conflict in the organization (Jacobson, 22).

Motivation in Managing People

     As we all know that motivation is the key to increase the productivity of any employee in the organization. The motivation is something that helps the employees in the organization to develop their skills and to be more productive. It is very important for the manager to motivate its employees so that they have more sense of recognition and it also results in the improved efficiency of employees in the organization. The manager who does not motivates their employees to have problems in the quality and productivity of employees. To be an effective manager, it is very important to think like leaders, in other words, it's mean to take charge of the work of their team members and get the most benefit out of the people (Cardinal, 2015).

 From this course, I have learned to motivate the employees if they are doing exceptional work because it always motivates them to do more and improve themselves. There are many of the advantages that an organization can get by motivating its employees. Being a manager, I know that by motivating the employees can make employees work in their highest potential. The motivation of employees also results in high job satisfaction, which encourages the employees to provide his full services to the company to accomplish its goals.

A good manager always motivates its employees, and he knows that it is the best way to enhance the overall performance of employees. To be an effective manager in the future, I must make sure to be more compassionate, supportive, understanding and motivating. I must also develop the skills of analyzing employee’s performances and motivation that is essential for increasing productivity. By obtaining these skills, I would manage the individuals and develop effective teams in the role of the manager in the future.
