Aussie Vacancies is working in the travel industry in Australia. The targeted market of Aussie Vacancies is the tourist who visits special holiday places with friends and family. Present work will also discuss the information related to the stakeholders by developing a register for stakeholders. Moreover, present work will also explain the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).

Discuss different phases of the project life cycle of Aussie Vacancies

The project was started to bring improvement in the booking system for the Aussie Vacancies in winter and summer holidays seasons. The project was initiated in summer season for advance preparation of winter holidays. In the initial phase of the project life cycle, an idea was presented by the Aussie Vacancies to develop an internet based booking system for its targeted audience. Managerial staff and supporting team members conducted research in the targeted market before initiating this idea to collect information about the perceived value of the customer, requirements of customers, possible opportunities of improvement, and satisfaction level of the customer regarding the offered products and services. Research analysis indicates that the potential users or customers of the Aussie Vacancies are not aware. Thus, after concluding the need for online booking system Aussie Vacancies managerial staff decided to link up the current computerized booking systems with the new internet based booking system. Although, at the phase of planning main emphasis was on idea generation and presentation.  

Managerial staff also decided to enhance management information system (MIS) to trawl database and share information with the relevant customers. In scheduling the activities human resource management related plans were also developed.

Aussie Vacancies selected E-Con firm to work on this project with some specified roles and resources of Aussie Vacancies. Then in the implementation phase, Aussie Vacancies contracted with the E-con and both companies started working on the development of the website and computerized booking system to integrate both systems appropriately. In the phase, further progress was also made in the web booking system front end.  

In monitoring and controlling phase of the project life cycle, Aussie Vacancies developed a report which was based on the recent strategic review of Aussie Vacancies by the senior managerial staff of the company. The reports presented information about the competitive advantages, cost allocation system, and suppliers related details. While in the last phase of the project life cycle, Aussie Vacancies would have a functional web-based booking system for its customers.
